Again, please contact your Doctor or Practitioner. Even if you get your pills through a clinic, they are usually more than happy to help you alter your schedule. Just tell them you have a vacation to go on or wedding or something and would like to avoid having your period during that time. If you're on a regular, standard dose pill that has the same amount of hormone in them through out the 3 weeks with a 7 day sugar pill pack, it can be arranged.
You will probably find that the first period you have after doing this will be heavier and more uncomfortable. In addition, you may be more moody and possibly gain more weight, but each person reacts differently to the pill.
