Status: offline 		I was just looking to see if anyone can tell me any good books or sites to learn more on the lifestyle. I have been a dom for about 5 months and am looking to learn all I can but having hard time finding things to read or even places to go here in north east Texas. can use all the help I can get

Status: offline 		Look them up on Amazon.com You obviously have a computer or access to one. Start with the Topping Book, SM101, The Complete Slave and The Masters Manuel. These will help understand yourself in give insight to being a Dominant. I also suggest you find a local communtiy gathering or one close enough for you to go to and talk to others, both Master/Dom and slave/sub. Through them you can learn alot about dynamics and techniques. Good luck.

Status: offline 		I would suggest learning from many of the articulate and experienced souls already found here; there is a wealth of information to be had if one takes the time and effort to find it. Some would say there is a lot of misinformation on the web about BDSM, and they are correct—but there is a lot of poppycock in print, too.

As mentioned going to Dallas will help You. I think Sanctuary has a Fourth Friday Munch. You could look Sanctuary Dungeon up for a start.

Status: offline 		I would get the book called SM 101 by Jay Wiseman I recommend it to beginners in the lifestyle. It was the first book I bought and read when I was first getting into the lifestyle, I would also seek out local munches and groups in your area. You will find those who enjoy and like mentoring to others seeking this lifestyle. I also would seek events going on in your area like beat me in Saint Louis, Shabricon in Chicago and Great Lakes Leather Alliance in Indiana. They have workshops and demos for three days and they are great to learn allot but they will not give you the location of these events until you pay and join for the event.

One thing I would add to the excellent sources allready listed..........once you get some of that knowledge in you, be sure and remain true to yourself..........just because something is written does not mean you have to be a mirror of it....if you are a dominant then there will be ways of doing things that will ring true to you.
