Depending on what it is you want to have;
- glorified blog
- community site
- personal ads
- etc.

If it is just a small personal site, without any interactive elements, I can teach you to do it yourself in some easy steps. A static site really isn't very difficult.

For search engine optimisation I recommend a nifty, FREE, software called WEBceo which will guide you through the process of optimising your site and post. You can pick it up at download.com

Hi... There is one trick I know for getting more hits through search engines. Type a big list of keywords (don't use commas, just spaces) that people mught use when searching for your kind of site. Paste the list way at the bottom of your main page. Be sure to make the font color the same as the page background so that the text will be invisible (it just looks better that way).
