Thanks for posting that, MsFlutter. It's a topic I follow with much interest. In general, when it comes to birth-control, the more options the better! (Caveat that the following is about the general topic, & less about the specific article.) I'm gonna be very cynical & sexist here & share that I suspect men won't go for the level of contraceptive-associated risk as women have put up with. I'm having a hard time seeing guys going for something that increases their heart attack & stroke risk, which is the case for women's chemical contraceptives . . . . . The article doesn't discuss the details of the contraceptive they're testing, but I know the Chinese have been hard at work on developing a male chemo-therapeutic contraceptive, & they've come up against this problem . . . .
