1.) The US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in
their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Tojo,
Noriega, Milosevic and the rest of those 'good ole boys,' We will
never "interfere" again.

2.) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting
with Germany, South Korea and the Philippines. They don't want us
there. We would station troops at our borders. No one sneaking through
holes in the fence.

3.) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and
leave. We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder
will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of who or
where they are. France would welcome them.

4.) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90
days unless given a special permit. No one from a terrorist nation
would be allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself
and don't hide here. Asylum would never be available to anyone. We
don't need any more cab drivers or 7-11 cashiers.

5.) No foreign "students" over age 21. The older ones are the
bombers. If they don't attend classes, they get a "D" and it's back
home baby.

6.) The US will make a strong effort to become self-sufficient energy
wise. This will include developing nonpolluting sources of energy but
will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness.
The caribou will have to cope for a while.

7.) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel
for their oil. If they don't like it, we go some place else. They can
go somewhere else to sell their production. (About a week of the wells
filling up the storage sites would be enough.)

8.) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world,
we will not "interfere." They can pray to Allah or whomever, for
seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides most of what we
give them is stolen or given to the army. The people who need it most
get very little, if anything.

9.) Ship the UN Headquarters to an isolated island some place. We
don't need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, the
building would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal
aliens.

10.) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no
one can call us "Ugly Americans" any longer. The Language we speak is
ENGLISH.....learn it...or LEAVE...Now, isn't that a winner of a plan.

"The Statue of Liberty is no longer saying 'Give me your poor, your
tired, your huddled masses.' She's got a baseball bat and she's
yelling,

"You want a piece of me???'"

#1 is good. That is the way the founders of this country intended it to be run. If it were run this way, we wouldn't have most of our problems.

#2 is very good. See #1.

#3 is OK. but France will probably not take them.

#4 is based on generalisations and not valid.

#5 is already done. Foreign enrollment in US universities has dropped dramatically in the past few years. I guess now that we can't do, for decades now, now we can't even teach. I guess we'll teach gym.

#6 is doable, but you need to vote for Ron Paul or James Trafficant for President (yes they did frame Trafficant). Only people in government with common sense would allow such a sensible thing, and we have none at the moment.

#7 is stupid. The US is not the biggest country in the world, nor do we hold any military superiority anymore. Read about the Moskit 2 missiles and the training exercises with the F planes and the MIGs. We lose every time. If you think we are sandbagging, you are in for a big surprise. When they moved all the manufacturing out of this country, with it went alot of engineers etc., even if they didn't leave. Welcome to the new world order.

#8 is pretty much on the money.

#9 is something that only recently become politically correct. One Senator said such things in the 80s and was never heard from again.

#10 on the surface is flippant and ridiculous, but really Americans need to learn to be nice when they drive a car, nice to their neighbors and ALOT ALOT ALOT of other things.

Offer them $10 a barrel ? They will laugh, there is enough demand that they can take it anywhere. How do you think the Chinese get to work, a bunch of them drive, a bunch of them don't, but there are a hell of a lot more of them in the pool.

Get out of that box. Your post proves that you DO have the potential to see the big picture, and if you can do that you will gain tenfold. But let me warn you, knowledge is power, so as such it is desirable to have, but remember this, it is not pretty. If enlightened enough you might find yourself refusing to pay taxes anymore or maybe even adbicating your US citizenship. We are bad.

That is the reason we have terrorism, and the government loves it to no end, because it gives them something to do. They will make sure the situation propogates itself until there is a camera under every toilet.

if we're gonna get serious about electing a president we need to do three things:

lower the age range for those who can run

let women run

and give everyone an equal budget (a set fund for the candidates). nobody is allowed to spend more than anyone else. this would allow for even the poor to run. also, do away with the electorial college and go back to actually counting each and every vote. we have enoug people to do it (controlled by video and other monitoring devices to insure a fair count)

Origins: We don't know who is responsible for the piece quoted above, but it definitely wasn't actor/comedian Robin Williams (of Mork & Mindy television fame). This item's debut appears to have been a 20 March 2003 posting to the USENET newsgroup alt.motorcycles.harley, and from there it was rapidly disseminated via e-mail and blogs, credited to either "author unknown" or no one at all. The Robin Williams attribution wasn't tacked on until several weeks later, apparently because along the way the eleventh entry was dropped and a genuine Robin Williams quote appended in its place:

"The Statue of Liberty is no longer saying 'Give me your poor, your tired, your huddled masses.' She's got a baseball bat and she's yelling, 'You want a piece of me?'" — Robin Williams.

The 'Robin Williams' attribution for the final item was interpreted as applying to the list as a whole, so now the entire piece circulates as 'the Robin Williams plan.'
