Owning a weapon is a Second Amendment issue.

The legal right to carry that weapon outside of your house is a local issue in my opinion.

I seem to remember that the 2nd Amendment reads somewhat along the lines of, "to keep and bear" arms. That would kinda include the right to carry, wouldn't ya think?

Hey! I wonder what's happening to the various crime rates in Washington, D.C. now that they can own guns there? Anyone know?

Dont judge me because I sin differently than you.
If you want it sugar coated, dont ask me what i think! It would violate TOS.

Open carry makes you potentially a walking gun store with a "Free Special" today, or if the guys who want to rob you are already armed then the sign on your back reads, "shoot me first."

Ture. I just recall from my high school days (oh so many eons ago) when the guys would drive to school with rifles on the racks, ready to go hunting for the weekend as soon as classes were out on friday afternoon.

I miss those days. Maybe its the innocence that seemed to have come along with it that i miss.

Well that's different, walking around with a rifle in your pant leg causes comment.

Hell, I remember actually carrying our cased rifles in school! We had hunter safety courses taught in our school, and we weren't allowed to leave our guns in the lockers. So we had to leave them in the car or carry them to class, and some kids carried them because they didn't have time to go out to the parking lot and get them between classes. We felt perfectly safe leaving our rifles in the gun racks out in our cars all day, because we knew the school security guards would make sure nobody stole our guns. Can you imagine that today?

Not in my case. People who were used to seeing me every day couldn't tell the difference.

Music, thanks, it looks like we'll have to wait for another few months to a year to see.
I forgot, they did that fairly recently so we won't have any accurate figures to look at for a while yet.
