I am currently considering buying a mouth spreader. I have never played with them before, can anyone give me the basics about it? Some are bare metal, others have padding. Some have no ratchets, others have one or two. Also, there appear to be some that are clearly designed for dental use not bdsm. Any advice on the pros's or con's, advice on what to buy, safety rules...

Well, my further research is a bit disappointing. Unless your penis is unusually small, it won't fit inside. The mouth spreaders don't generally work for blow jobs, but they are fine for cunnilingus. Doesn't help me.

Try a 1 and 3/4 inch welded ring with leather straps to tie around the back of her head. They come in larger size if her mouth is big enough.

~Fast Reply~ Head to the hardware store and check out O-rings. Beware though - my experience is that once the ring is big enough for the penis, it's too big for the mouth.

The rings aren't big enough for a penis. But plenty of drool and humiliation if you like that. If you do, make sure the rings are wrapped in leather as you can damage the tooth enamel with a metal one.
