Status: offline 		Apparently, because there isnt anything to race bait about, Al sharpton has written the NFL commish to ask him to kill rush Limbaugh's attempt to buy part of the Rams.  Im not a fan of either man but let's face it, It's Rush's money, let him spend it as he damn well pleases.

Status: offline 		And its the NFL's corporate image....which means they can reject anyones money they want to.....and in this case rejecting Rush is a case of good business .
Not to mention that it wouldn't be the first time the NFL said adios to Rush's bullshit....

Status: offline 		It was TV ratings that nixed Rush on Monday night football, not the NFL. Al Sharpton is more of a bigot that Rush will ever be. Remember Twauna and the fake rape story. Iwould challenge anyone out there to find one instance where Rush acted in a racist manner.

Status: offline 		The NFL is a private entity.....and as such they reserve the right to discriminate based on their own best interests...in this case the best interest of the league is to not be in bed with Rush.
Now if Rush's legions of fans want to discriminate against the NFL based on this stance they are free to do so.

Sharptons letter wasn't needed and doesn't help.....but its all moot....the NFL is not about to let Rush get his nose in the tent.

Mike, you're right, the last time I was in Cambridge, Mass and Berkeley, Calif I was almost knocked to the ground by the rabid NFL fans there.

Servant Rush isn't trying to buy a team....Rush at best would have been a minority partner in a bid to buy a team.Rush ain't got the type of money needed to buy an NFL team.....he's not even close to being that rich.
And btw it will be a cold day in hell when the NFL accepts any prospective buyer that Rush is associated with......have you all forgotten Rush's oh so brief stint on one of the Pre-Game shows.....yanno the stint that came to an abrupt end when Rush made some race based comments concerning a certain Philly QB ...remarks that saw the NFL quickly move to have the network remove him.
It takes a 75% vote of the owners to approve new ownership candidates....these men are smart businessmen....Rush won't get anywhere near that percentage

One instance?  I could spend all day finding you instances.  But this is on point:

In 2003, Limbaugh worked briefly on ESPN's NFL pregame show. He resigned after saying Philadelphia EaglesDonovan McNabb was overrated because the media wanted to see a black quarterback succeed.

Status: offline 		He ridiculed all 65,000 of those in Detroit, white and black that showed but to get $3000 in cash from Obama. The ugly rumor called it Obama money. He had it to give because he was the president. They deserved to be made fun of. He's a funny guy. Lighten up.
