she stands before the open door
just not sure what to do anymore
her body bends in a graceful bow
though it all seems so pointless now
there is no entrance granted this day
no "Thank You Master" must she say
she makes her way across the floor
every step in silence burning in her core
she kneels down beside His chair
for now with no Master just sits bare
she lays her head upon His seat
so broken now her heart can not beat
she starts to remember as the tears flow
of times they shared and the love He'd show
she remembers all the things He'd say
how He called her "little one" in that special way
she remember all the lessons He taught
and even the few times that they fought
she lift her head, whips her tears away
for in this room she can not stay
she slowly rises and looks around
her new path in life must now be found
she tucks the memories deep in her heart
they are safe there and will never part
she pauses for just one moment more
takes a deep breath and closes the door
