Are there any drinks or foods that have been shown to help ease the pain of headaches. I take tylonal, asprin if I can find it, but generic pain killers like those tend to do squatt for my headaches

Well, it's not a food, but one thing I've found that really helps my headaches (and I get them all the time, but can't take medicine as I'm preggo) is a mixture of essential oil of eucalyptus and peppermint, tempered with sweet walnut oil, massaged lightly into my temples.  The smell combined with the light massage takes away my headaches quicker than Tylenol ever could.  For really bad migraines, it at least helps ease the pain a bit, but it won't make it go away.

You might try green tea with honey and lemon taken in a dark, quiet room.  Bright light and loud noise of course intesify headaches.

i agree with DragoNphoenix, have known people who used feverfew for migraines, also i've used peppermint and rosemary tea, or even just hot, strong earl grey.
