OP,
You identify as a switch...what's your answer?

Mine would be yes.

If the switch is growing as a person and as a switch yes they can be. Some are inclined to relate more to one or the other and some develop both aspects fairly equally.

Yes I switch can make a good sub, I'm currently a sub, but every once in awhile I'm allowed to have my domme side come out on our joint sub.

I've self identified as a switch for close to 30 years. The true duality of my nature has been called into question often by those who do not know me. This tends to be from those who are either very rigid in their thinking, or new to BDSM.

Over the years, I have evolved a great deal as both a submissive and a dominant, and I would say a great deal of that has been because of my other side.

If they put forth enough effort and the power dynamic issues where resolved I do nt see why not

I can't imagine why a switch can not be both a good dominant and a good submissive, even at the same time.

They can be good or bad - all depends on the person. What I have found is that you can relate more with the sub when domming them if you have had the same experience you are giving them, this does not mean that to be a great Domme you need to be a sub first its just my personal opinion based on experiences.
