What type of candles are best for this? Has anyone used Salon parfin wax heated in a crock pot? Does it get too hot?

I'm fond of the drip-candles you find sometimes in adult toy shops and those tall Catholic votive cup-candles.  Generally I go with cheaper candles, because cheaper wax burns at a slightly lower temperature - more wax in less time, and are less likely to cause injury.  Sometimes as a mind-fuck for subs who are terrified of wax play, soy candles can be a lot of fun.

I think salon paraffin sounds iffy, and a crock pot seems less sexy than a taper or cup.  I'd recommend testing it first on a less sensitive body part, and keeping some cold water on hand just in case.

Paraffin and soy burn at lower temperatures so less chance of burns. Beeswax and colored candles burn the hottest, with them you must be very careful.

Lots of people use paraffin. Put a shower curtain liner down to protect the bed. Then have fun covering her in wax. Instead of just drips, you can do molds.

The other thing about a paraffin pot is that you can't accidentally knock the candle over and start a fire. And that's a good thing.

Isn't this the exact same question posted as here?

I thought it but you said it, too bad one of these is gonna go away as a cross post, probably the one with the better information, for its teaching value to cross-posters.

Paraffin has a low melt point.  Shabbat (Sabbath) candles are inexpensive and are made of uncolored, unfragranced paraffin so you have a low melt point with minimal add-ons that might cause irritation.
