OP, I'll agree that poster's on this site are pretty hard on newcomers and I'll either stick up for the newcomer if I think their post is valid or I'll just grab a bag of popcorn & watch.

Thats not what she said. She was answering the question "Do you find the same regulars popping up despite your topic choice to offer snide remarks and off topic jabs while patting one another on the rump roast."

and gave her explanation of why that happens. And yes when an op starts spouting off about "his way is the twue way" people tend to pop off with snarky remarks. Go back and read some of the other threads started by the op and maybe you will understand it more.
