All the ones I know of are not 24 hour and that only leaves suicide hotlines, and you could call them even if you're not suicidal but need to talk, but I don't like tying up their lines.

In my area they are no longer 24 hour hotlines such as (mobile crisis) which operated as a hotline / mobile crises service due to loss of federal funding this past year. It is truly sad. The mental health offices typically have a 24 hour hotline unless they have been cut due to funding as well.

I just called a hotline and said I wasn't suicidal but I was loosing it mentally and would you talk and we did, and I got a number to call in the morning for maybe getting some low cost help for my mental distress.

That's great! You took the 1st step which is always the hardest. Keep walking forward, you'll soon get the help you need and will start feeling better.

pure it went good, the  information she had isn't valid any longer, since the free health care in sac went out of business, but she listend and I got to express myself with out fear, because often I am afraid to say frankly what's going on in my head for fear of the repercussions.

I do not know if you are a religious type person. but some do offer counseling. I don't know what your issues are, but it sounds like you just need a non-involved, non judgemental person to lend a friendly ear

Or perhaps you think because people are being honest with you, you believe they are being mean.  Many people who care TfB don't waste their time on people who don't deserve it.  So maybe instead of seeing it as turning on you, you stop and perhaps listen instead of feeling sorry for yourself.

no lol my teenage buddy was a fair weather friend lol. When she was mad at you she'd yell your private business all over the place, like when I told her I was being abused as a kid, and we got into a fight she yelled from her porch go home and go fuck your family you  know you like it :P

My friends here are really nice, but there's some people you trust to talk to and they're not the best people to trust  and that's the truth, and not feeling sorry for myself to say so. And I'm not really meaning any one person, but like say you trust a dom friend and this happend lol,  to talk to and they're all friendly and supportive an they agree this friendship is non sexual and then you come over and do what friends do cook hang out help them out, then when they find out just how lonely you are poof there goes the friend an then out comes the I'll take care of you come fuck me leave your partner cheat on your partner side of them lol.  Once they smell lonelyness or the slightest chink in the armour they move in hehe.
