What is the big deal.  Most of the gorean dudes will tell you that most males are easily manipulated by wimmins and that is why they are not real goreans or whatever. . . but their glorious gorean selves are above such things.

I have a huge bag full of old jeans, cutting them into squares, getting a lining (an old, huge blanket from a thrift store works great), and putting them all together in a bit of a patchwork.  Been making those since I was a wee kitten.  Great way to recycle old jeans.  That and making backpacks out of them.

i'm getting ready to go to a quilt fair and exhibition. Mom is over here from the states, so we've been collecting fat quarters of things that remind her of aus. we're going to do a vy simple patchwork pattern (hopefully starting this weekend) so she'll always remember her trip over here.

and blankets as backing? oh yeah - when i've been dirt poor, wool blankets used to be my wadding as well. sad to say though, jeans get too expensive to buy at 2nd hand shops and i don't know enough people to snatch their jeans from them, lol! i've seen them with pockets left on - tooooo fun

LOL, I'm a pack rat sometimes.  And with 4-5 people in the household, torn and used old jeans are very very easy to come by.  When they become unwearable, I wash them and toss them into the bag. :)

HAHAHA!  Oh my god!  When I was a kid, I LOVED the huge boxes, for like stoves and refrigerators and stuff.  Those were the best!  It was a fort, a house, a rocket, a cave, a space station, anything I wanted it to be.

God, now I know what I want for christmas!  I want a refrigerator box!

I used to build mazes and multi-room houses in the backyard with all our Christmas boxes. After I was done, I'd move my presents into the biggest "room" there, shut the cardboard door behind me, and my stepmother wouldn't see me until dinnertime. This year, I'm building a fort for my pets so they can play too.

It was an actual answer.  It is a big bird of prey.  They ride/fly on them.

You mean that you can accept that they are ruled by giant bugs, but not huge flying birds?  Come on now!

They do.  It is just that so often it goes unused for large portions of time!
