The stupidity of this OP aside, I used to call my previous Master "Master" in public all the time. You know what? Nobody noticed....NOBODY. On the whole people are so wrapped up in their own lives that it takes more than that to turn their heads. I didn't shout it from the rooftops, but we also saw no need to change our dynamic for people who we were never going to see again anyway. I do admit I was nervous and self-conscious at first but after a while I forgot to pay attention and it was one of the most freeing experiences of my life. Everyone must make their own choices and I respect them, I just wasn't going to stop calling him that simply because we were in a restaurant or food shopping.

did i say it is ugly and unbecoming? Did i in any way indicate it is something i am uncomfortable with or ashamed of?

We do not wear our kink on our sleeves because, quite frankly, we do not have to. Putting on a show for attention is beneath both of us. My guess is it is not beneath you. Making others uncomfortable by what we do or how we conduct ourselves in public is something we choose to avoid.

Of course not, nor do I recommend it in every situation for all people. But then I was surprised by how I felt doing it.

Or, you know, private. I think I look pretty and becoming naked, but I don't feel the need to share my naked body with the world. Again, not everyone is an exhibitionist. Good for those who are and who exercise their impulses in front of a willing audience. But it's not the sine qua non of a healthy attitude.
