First off, I never say a sub/slave is bad. what they may have done may have displeased me or even have been baf, but I do not believe in telling someone they are bad. Secondly, Whatever punishment is needed is to be used to see that whatever was wrong or displeasing will not happen again. I do not see punishments as interesting, nor should it be taken lightly or made a joke of

I use rubbing alcohol.  Removes sticky sodas (among other things) and doesn't damage components as long as they are unplugged and allowed to dry thoroughly.

I think it should be determined by what they really dont like or really cant take...

Make them think of an "interesting punishment" like these that would make their cock hard, then inform them that you will never punish them in that manner.

A whip, cane or belt is most suitable in my opinion. They are implements with a long standing tradition for a reason.
