Do you think that the D/s dynamic is different when it is between two men as opposed to a male and female couple?   I guess it might depend on what activities are enjoyed. For instance forced feminization seems to have a much larger following than forced masculineisation.

well, there is alot more moving parts to forced feminization. forced masculization would only require not shaving wherever for a couple days, and farting.

Not much to work with when you consider bras, panties, dresses, accoutrements, makeup, wigs, footwear, color and gender role coordination, and so on. Hands down winner, eh?

I think whatever answer you are going to get is going to be based on little more than conjecture, unless you are specifically targeting replies from male Dominants who have been in dynamics with both male and female s types.

M/f/m creates less friction and compitition then M/f/f there is less intrensic jealousy that occurs more in females then males.

From this Masters point of view the fact that the slave or potential slave is of male or female gender is of no importance. From a bi-males point of view the gender is important as I prefur a nice set of boobs and the taste of good pussy. I will continue to have my female slave sleep with me in "our" bed any potential male slave will not.

Ok, This is weird and slightly off topic, but I actually feel like my Master is "forced feminizing" me even though I am a girl. I love dressing girly but I never felt like I had the time to do my make up every morning I only did it for special occasions. And I didn't usually buy skits and dresses even when I thought they were pretty because I always thought  "when will I ever get a chance to wear that?"And because I work in a male dominated field, I wore jeans and a black t shirt everyday to fit in. I also have been keeping my hair short for the past 4 or 5 years. Now I only wear pants when I am at work, I do my make-up everyday, I am growing my hair out, and I stopped biting my nails and started painting them to match my outfits. I think the difference is it isn't humiliating or meant to be. Its what I always wanted and I feel more beautiful and confident than I ever have in my life.

As for the topic: I would guess that a M/f dynamic is closer to traditional gender roles so it is more "comfortable" for the people involed. Maybe its a tiny bit easier to slip into the roles.

This is exactly the sort of 'forced feminzation' situation that I find extremely pleasurable. I think it is quite common.

The difference is more focused on the people involved, rather than the orientations involved.
Forced feminization isn't restricted to males.

Judging by some of the kinky  bottoms on the boards, male subs are much more focused on getting their specific kink needs met, and their needs are much more specific. A female sub who wants some pain usually doesn't care what implement you use or what you say during it. The males want the heavy humiliation at the same time, they are more likely to insist on that lowly worm stuff, or on humiliating them about the size of their penis and so on.

A female sub will do the housecleaning wearing anything around that's suitable. The males are more likely to want a maid's outfit for it. Males just tend to more fetishy than women.

By far, the greatest dynamic is that of PERSON to PERSON. First master that, and many supposed gender based issues tend to obviate.

I enjoyed this.

The dynamics are pretty much going to always be the exact same thing regardless of the combinations of gender.

What is different is the bells and whistles as each dominant and their compatible submissive are going to indulge in things that interest them more and ignore things that do not interest them at all. What is important and interesting to a person is individualistic with observations of popular choices only at best affecting short term behaviors but over time it is always individualistically based.
