Art says it well.

Art is in the eye of the beholder.

Art feeds the soul.

Art brings something alive.

I would say a person's art offers a view into their life experiences, what haunts them, their past as that is where art really comes from.

Art offers a view into someone's past, what made them, what haunts them. That is where a person's art comes from. They try to make sense of who they are, so art is both introspective and retrospective. The artist looks back to look within.

Ignore the one who wastes time looking at them next door. Art is poetry...and your words reflect a deep thinking mind, thoughts of the very heart of one's soul. I look forward to your next poem.
