I can't remember where it was, and I got a suggestion to help out maybe. if you have cable you could burn kids show's onto a dvd and then let children watch them in the hospital with a dvd player. And as a side question, I am trying to find entertainment tv wise for a 2 year old a friend of mne has, and I know nick tunes and stuff is good but what about fairly odd parents, I want the dvd's I make to be educational and entertaining both.

aylee, you can't burn dvd's for your own use? not for profit, use? If you own a cassette tape, VHS tape, DVD, or CD, you are allowed to make ONE copy for your own library. The idea being that all those mediums deteriorate with use. So you would use your copy until it started deteriorating and then make another. Anytime I hear a radio from a passing car- I think that royalties should be paid. Especially for that marvelous one of a kind sound of rap. LOLOLOL

Ugh! I do not even like hearing my OWN two medium-large dogs barking. (A great dane is large. . . black labs are medium large!)

I have to do something on this one before next summer. Windows are closed now so it is bearable. Many here own dogs who do not bark. We DO have an ordinance- on this- but enforcing it is sort of hard. I almost need a 2nd neighbor to complain with me. Most run the TV all the time. I do not. So the TV muffles the noise for them. Anyhow- before next summer I think I have to bring this to attention of the city- many of us abide by the noise ordinances, but every year there is one or 2 that do not. buy a couple of those collars that train dogs to not bark and give them to the dog's owners., with a polite note stating that if they can not get their dog's barking under control, you will have no choice but to get police involved.

Or what I did when I got fed up was call the dog's owner at 2:00Am and tell them their dog was barking and was obviously in trouble so they should go rescue him. Every night until he got the message that until he stopped leaving the dog alone outside all night, he wouldn't get any more sleep then I was.
