Phoenixpower -> RE: I Admit It I........ (1/12/2013 3:16:04 AM)

I admit I started getting serious on dealing with my gained weight again at last...

I admit I started monday off with a 3 day detox (made out of vegetable and fruit juices) and restarted it on tuesday as I did not stick entirely to it, with the unexpected soup we got during our team meeting...

I admit on tuesday I then put it on hold in the evening as my sore throat just became an unbearable bitch again...and I don't need restricting myself to such juices when I would just like to hide under my duvet due to agonising pain...

I admit yesterday I was so fed up of my never seriously ending sore throat that I bought 4 bars of chocolate when they were about 40% cheaper than usual....and despite the pain...I ate them all [8|] cause my frustration was massive....and I had to survive that shift at work [8|]

I admit, though, I am nevertheless grateful that it didn't threw me off my path big time, cause wednesday morning my weight was 1.4kg lighter than before those 2 mainly juicy days....and today I am 1.8kg lighter than on monday....so it still goes in the right direction...[:)]

I admit I just want to be left alone now from that pain and  continue it healthily how I want to [>:]

jlf1961 -> RE: I Admit It I........ (1/12/2013 3:40:23 AM)

I admit I have not been to sleep since about 630 yesterday, and it is by choice.
I admit that my sister somehow injured her back yesterday and can barely move.
I admit my niece and I are going to force my sister to go to the ER... even if I have to hog tie her and put her in the back of the truck.
I admit my great nephew is cutting his one year molars and is not a happy camper.
I admit I have asked a cousin to bring some of Great Uncle Roosevelt's moonshine down here to Texas.
I admit the moonshine is too strong to put on Damian's gums.
I admit I sent a cmail to Phoenixpower telling her some things she might do for her sore throat.
I admit I will take a nap while my niece takes my sister to the ER.
Finally, I admit that if anyone knows anything that will help ease teething pain in an 11 month old, I would greatly appreciate the info.

jlf1961 -> RE: I Admit It I........ (1/12/2013 5:47:39 AM)

I admit my sister is worse this morning, so much so the pain pills she was given for another problem is not working for any pain at this point.

Go to the baby section and get a freezable teething ring, one with the liquid inside. Trust me when I tell you as soon as baby figures out how it works there will be peace in your home again.
And a little Anbesol won't hurt either

I admit Hugs to Syl..

I admit Hugs to Phoenix, hope your throat feels better soon..

I admit I am posting more in an attempt to work through some of my communication problems, this isn't the best way but it is helping as I usually type something out then cancel feeling why bother/nobody wants to hear it...

I admit Luci has it, I found nothing worked better than cold teething rings, kept several so I could rotate them out...

I admit I am on a romantic movie kick this week, just feeling lonely now I guess[X(]

And, until you can get to the store, roll a washcloth up in a tight tube, dip 3/4 of it in water and freeze. The baby can hold the dry part and gnaw on the frozen part. My son loved this, better than any teething rings I found.

theshytype -> RE: I Admit It I........ (1/12/2013 8:24:09 AM)

I admit the beat thing on the planet for a teething child is a mesh teething feeder! Put ice cubes or frozen fruits (grapes work great) inside and they'll chew and suck away. They may get a little messy, but it's worth the moment of peace.

I admit we tried that.
I also admit that he chose to throw it at his grandmother, his mother, the dogs, and me rather than gnaw on it.

Have one of those, unless it has watermelon in it, he wont have anything to do with it.

I admit I tried something my mom, grandmother and great grandmother tried. I wet my finger with some whiskey and rubbed his gums with the finger. He has stopped crying and is taking his sippy cup of lemonaid now.
I admit that my sister is now at the ER about her back.

I admit baby Advil is your best friend when it comes to teething. My kids didn't like the teething biscuits, the frozen teething rings, or any other type of teething remedy, and Anbesol didn't work. Advil did.

GingerLime -> RE: I Admit It I........ (1/12/2013 11:22:26 AM)

I admit I created a new CM profile after retiring my old one and being away from CM for 6 months.

I admit a friend is the reason I will try this again..and maybe have some fun.

I admit my old name was "dovie"

I admit I'm not a newbie. (evil grin) Love ya

lmpishlilhellcat -> RE: I Admit It I........ (1/12/2013 11:22:35 AM)

I admit it's probably time for me to get into the doctor.

I admit I have been incredibly tired and cranky as of late.

I admit I feel much better today, now that the sun is shining and it' a nice 50 degrees.

I admit I don't know what is causing this. I've been working out, eating super healthy, getting at least 7.5 hours of sleep, cut down my sugar and salt, and getting lots of vitamins and nutrients.

I admit I slept for 11 hours last night.

I admit last friday I slept for 12 hours.

I admit overall today I feel great.

jlf1961 -> RE: I Admit It I........ (1/12/2013 11:27:49 AM)

I admit my sis has returned from the ER.
I admit that my sis has a major kidney infection.
I admit that her kidney infection is in no way due to my recent run of texmex food using a variety of hot peppers.
I admit that I have chicken marinating in a mixture of 1 cup tequila, 1/2 cup of lime juice, and a puree of jalapenos, cayennes, and banana peppers.

Also, cut up banana as small.as you might feed it to the baby, freeze it and let the baby chew on it.
Healthy and pain relieving.

Never heard of that trick.

I admit Damian loves bananas.

There is a numbing gel specially made to relive teething pain. You should be able to get it at a pharmacy. It works fairly well.

I would however, refrain from putting lemonaid into a sippy cup. The constant barrage of acidity and sugar is pure poison for new teeth.

I admit that the lemonade Damian gets is 1 part lemonaid and 3 parts water.
I admit that when no one is looking I give him sips of my coffee.

My sons are 8, 9, and 13 by now. None of them is ready to face the day before he as had his morning coffee.

It's what I get for letting them taste black coffee, thinking that no young kid would like it. Now they need a latte each morning.

lmpishlilhellcat -> RE: I Admit It I........ (1/12/2013 3:22:01 PM)

I admit I found some of my grandma's bean soup in the freezer.

I admit not only is it low calorie, it's my favorite.

I admit I'm whipping up some sweet cornbread to go with it and now I'm in heaven!!
