I've got in atm,
A tomato, 3 potatos, 4 capsicums, countless garlics, a row of celery, half a dozen dwarf snow peas, 2 gingers, a choko vine, a chili plant, mint, strawberries, a dozen lettuces, chives, three different types of parsley, 2 dills, oregano, tyme, coriander, basil, spring onions and I think some kind of Chinese cabbage.
The things that don't like the cold will be in coke bottle green houses through winter, I like giving somethings a head start.[:-]
It's all organic so far, I companion planted the garlic everywhere and it seems to be working, I'll bust out some pest repellant flowers when the weather gets a bit warmer.
Some people like the look of bare dirt, but I much prefer the look and feel of mulch, not to mention it requires a lot less watering and weeding!i'm a pick off and squish kinda guy too,(**well not squish, "throw" but the second last grub I threw, didn't even hit the ground... A magpie got him in mid air...) the last thing was a grub eating one of my chillies... I was like... WTF grub, why aren't you dead... Them chillies are hot! I launched him into space.[8D]
