Me also. And trying to decide what I am going to make for the italian food pig out I am now planning. Lasagna, stuffed shells, linguini with white clam sauce....or something else. Decisions decisions.

It would be worth it for the pleasure of your company! I'll make the bread.... a nice ciabatta, maybe? With sun-dried tomatoes?

Oh, and now on this page we've moved into cheese? Man. I'm on my way to my hometown in Wisconsin for a few days tomorrow, and I'm taking the big cooler to load up at my favorite cheese maker, Mullins Cheese Factory. Nobody I know of makes better curds these days. I usually bring back about 10 pounds and freeze most of them, but the texture changes when you freeze them so they're not quite as good. But even then, still better than any other fresh curds I can get in the Cities.

subtlebutterfly -> RE: I'm fairly confident I'll get in trouble for this.....but..... (11/18/2009 11:38:36 AM)

It equates a life without cutting the cheese as much, too!!!

Not eating cheese is a gift to the people I love.... yes it is... well that and the inability to walk after I eat that stuff.

But I do so miss ice cream!

GoddessImaginos -> RE: I'm fairly confident I'll get in trouble for this.....but..... (11/18/2009 11:44:04 AM)

Cheese is right up there with hot sweaty monkey sex as far as Suitable Topics For Everyday Conversation go, IMO. And there is no such thing as too much cheese.
(seen on a bumper sticker once: "Have You Tried Cheese Lately? It's made from mammary products!)

Well that pretty much pegs it then. I'm wrapping my monster in muenster, call it the gift of the cheese wheel.

OMG warm fresh warm cheese curds that squeak on your teeth when you eat them....... There is a little town near here that has a cheese factory. I really need to make a Saturday road trip now.

And the bread sounds perfect!
