KateyCaine, yeah I can see that'd make a difference, it was a very hot fried cream cheese wongton, I'd thought I let it cool off enough but nope and I got a full on dose of hot cream cheese strait on my poor toung, I think the worst part was that the wong tongs were not even that yummy nor was the lunch, since we decided to take a chance on a new dinner an try it and the food was gross, in fact it kept my stomach unhappy and sour for like 5 hours , no kidding. lol. after burning it I sucked on some ice for a while, and then I put the icy cup directly onto my toung and then I babied it for a while with another ice cube in the mouth.. quote:
ORIGINAL: KateyCaine It depends what you burnt it on. When i accidentally scald my tongue on piping hot food or drinks, the tip is just sensitive for a couple of hours. Make sure you drink lots of cold water to soothe it. k.
