Who Are You
Who are you? Though my eyes have never been blessed with your vision, nor my lips caressed by the heaven of yours, that I should so strongly feel the lack. You that sparks the heat that burns within my soul and inflames my desire. You. You that unknowingly owns all that is hidden within and yet too feels the void. You that can see through the veil to what lies within and warms at its sight. You. You that but with little more than a look can melt my resistance and bring me to my knees.
What air do you draw?
What stars do you gaze upon?
My love, I search for You, rising each day to the question. Where on this earth, save my soul, do you reside?
