I don't mean the ones who are into seeing their girl in diapers, but the loving dominant type. After long thought, I decided that's the kind of Dom that would be best for me, and I don't know whether staying on cm makes sense for me.

I would consider myself to be a Daddy Dom in the context of your profile's description and I can only assume there are several on CM but I think many Daddy Doms are looking for subs into age play, not necessarily as far of a regression as diapers but definitely a parent/child dynamic.

For the record a Daddy Dom is one that takes care of his submissives in a kind yet firm way that does not mean taking them over your knee all the time for things that are not sivere offences. It means taking the female submissive and treating her as a woman and as a submissive as well. A Daddy Dom is one that is of the OLD SCHOOL. I am proude to say that I am a Daddy Dom and I do not Dom my girls that I have raised yet I teach that they have the strength within to do what needs to nbe done

I am Now confused because according to the above dynamics I am, and then again I am not a Daddy Dom.
 
I have always seen the process of a Daddy Dom to be that in which there is an air of parental dominance in play. That the submissive in many ways identifies as a little girl, from diapers to the teenager years and seeks a protective parental Dominant.
 
The issue that I have is that I do not want a woman who acts like a child or in that regard childish. I want a fully grown woman to act her age and carry herself in a proper manner.
 
I am one of those Doms who enjoys emotion and I like to be in love and feel that love reciprocated from my slave. If this makes me a Daddy Dom.. okay I can live with that. But if being a Daddy Dom means putting up with hissy fits and temper tantrums then you can take it cause I don't need that shit in my life. I'll have children for that process.
 
I personally have an issue with the Daddy Dom persona because I see what I do as primarily sexual and adult and I don't want to have any aspect of that diluted in age regression play or in Freudian confusion.
 
All that said I hope you find what you are looking for. There is no reason to Leave CM as you don't have to find your partner here but it does seem to be a great way to network.
 
Make friends and see what happens. I am always curious why people don't just want to make friends why is it always about the "One". Guess what I've had an assload of the "One" I just call it what it is the current place I am in in my life.

Based on what I read online, the majority of self-described "daddy doms" are pretty squicked/grossed out by the whole diapers/infantalism/adult baby thing. It's a much rarer fetish (at least among men) than just wanting to do young girl ageplay.

My husband's style is much more "Daddy" than anything else. He's not looking for a girl, however, as he has a girlfriend who says she is submissive.
