I recently read (devoured, actually - well-written) Deborah Addington's A Hand in the Bush: The Fine Art of Vaginal Fisting. According to the book, some women are typically more difficult to initiate into the "fine art" of fisting - particularly younger women, tighter women, women who have not had children and women who haven't been fisted before. I am in all of these categories, and happily had no issues - in fact, remarkable success [:)] - with my own first self-fisting. I would highly recommend the book, and the experience. I would like to try fisting with my partner, but I am rather petite and he is literally twice my size with very large hands. Does anyone have any experience or advice, beyond patience and LOTS of lube? Thank you!

Tried it once, but I made a real fist of it. Im not palming off any excuses though. I was just all thumbs.

It might be a tougher fit, but it really isn't as much a difference as it often appears to be. It is kind of a visual illusion to some extent. Once the hand is in the right position, the shape and size is sort of altered in a way that I know I have been surprised at who's hand I could take. One big thing is to be VERY highly aroused prior and through the entire experience. Not only does it add to the lubrication, but you are more likely to press down and assist in the process and even devour his hand (much like you did the book [:)]). You will be more relaxed and more eager to be filled up. I do love the feeling myself and am glad you have come to enjoy this type of play. Good luck! lovingpet

um, patience and a lot of lube... Really, that's what it comes down to, and the willingness to accept that it might just not work physically due to the reasons you listed. My current love is in all those same categories, and can barely take four fingers from me. With her, it's pretty clear that it's a skeletal limitation, not soft tissue. She's also not particularly interested in fisting per se, though she likes the "casual" stretching that we do engage in. The woman I was with before her is also in all those categories and was tantalizingly close to being able to take my hole hand when we split. Had we stayed together, she would have been a little disappointed if we never got my hand all the way in, but most of the enjoyment comes from the idea and the attempt anyway. All of the women I have successfully fisted save for one had given birth to children, and there was no challenge to it at all by comparison, and was often accomplished without any artificial lubrication. I have to say, trying is more enjoyable than doing from my end in this case.

I have been just chomping at the bit to experience fisting. I have gone through childbirth but I am either one of those people that just can't be fisted or I haven't been with a partner with enough patience, as it's been attempted numerous times with no success. [:(] If at first you don't succeed... lol

He should have you teetering on the edge most likely before even starting or even having had an orgasm or two prior. The bigger he is, the more relaxed and eager you have to be. OP: I agree with most of what has been said..other than I am puzzled about the childbirth thing.. I think if they have NOT BEEN "cut'(episiotomy) and then sewn and repaired perhaps?? I have been with women who have not had children who "stretched"/accomadated easier.. I full agree about the arousal though.. Ok I am sorry if this hijacks the post, and if I sound like an idiot but... I am really turned on by the idea of fisting. I've had several ppl try in the past, to no avail. I mentioned it to Master and He said absolutely not, as it would irrevocably stretch both my pussy and my labia. I don't think that's true at all. I've had a baby, which is way bigger than a fist but a fist will not fit up there now. My experience anyway. Not that I'm interested in it lol but kudos to those who are and have done it

I have taken fistings from someone with hands the size of a football player and have had two vaginal deliveries. Last time my partner and I were together he literally almost couldn't get his cock in! The pussy is a magical thing with amazing abilities to both stretch and snap back to that delicious tightness. If it is a concern you can also do Kegal exercises to help keep things in good repair down there. All you do is tighten the pelvic muscles like you are trying to keep from peeing, hold for a count of 10-20, and release. Start with maybe 10 a few times a day and slowly increase the number per session, the length you hold them, and how many times a day you do them. Any stretching going on from a single fist is no match for the power of the Kegal! Yes, in some extreme practices, things can get stretched beyond repair. Either that is a body modification that is acceptable within the relationship or that level of play is avoided. I guess it is possible to get overly stretched by a single fist, but I haven't known of any cases personally. All of this is assuming he could get it up there in the first place. If you've read the thread, you can see there are several factors that can keep it from even being possible. There are factors that should work in a woman's favor that sometimes don't and even hinder. Regarding the inability to accommodate a hand in the vagina, I'm pretty sure even the largest hand is a lot smaller than the tiniest baby. Sure, some females can't naturally birth a baby, but that's rare. So it's probably a matter of technique and patience. "It just won't ever work" might be a copout in a lot of cases. Not that I've ever done it, but I'm certainly willing to try ;)

In the one instance the man's hand was in fact larger around than either of my babies' heads, so it is possible. I think mostly it is technique, patience, and desire, but there are surely some that really can't. I would say for many it would magically happen one time when they were just playing around and not "trying", kinda like winding up with a baby lodged up there! Funny how that works out! lovingpet

I grew up riding horses and I do Kegels now and then, but it didn't have an adverse affect on my self-fisting. Actually the muscle control seemed to help, and squeezing the PC muscles with my fist inside - so intense, and WOW! We'll give it a shot, and if it doesn't work, I'll just have to settle for our current stellar sex life...gee darn...[;)]
