I still can't figure this President out. Just do it, don't try and please the half-wits that voted for you. Did he ever hear of a surprise attack, why tell everybody his plan.

If he doesn't at least claim that he's trying to please the half wits who voted for him, they won't vote him again. It's hardly rocket science.

I would be most interested to learn why the people that voted for Obama are characterised as "half-wits"?
Does that imply that those who voted against him were in posession of all of their wits?Or was the poster implying that all who take the time and trouble to vote "half-wits"?
Explaining to this poster that we are a Democracy and that the citizenry of this country actually expect and even demand some level of transparency from their goverment as to the use of the Nations most precious resource(our youth)might qualify me for the dreaded "half-wit" appelation(oh shit as an Obama voter I already qualify....lol)

The right moan about him taking too long to decide and make a speech now surprise surprise they complain that the speech wasn’t all it should have been.

The left are moaning about it as well.

His speech stated at least a few times that "this action is absoultely necessary". It doesnt take that long to decide on an action when the "action is absolutely necessary", unless that time is spent trying to game things so it doesnt hurt you as badly politacally.

Or...unless one is taking the time to decide what course the absolutely necessary conditions call for.
Now I know your not use to a President actually thinking things through...but how about we try it this way for awhile
It might even be prudent to point out to you that the deployment he chose would actually be getting the asked for troops there quicker.
See,thinking isn't a bad thing willbeur.....more like a prudent thing when you are making such decisions.
