Oh JOY!  One thread for one side to deny Obama has accomplished anything, one for another side to deny Bush did.

Sock drawer it is then.

To be fair folks, that IS a fact. There have been  no SUCCESSFUL attacks.
Not saying i am a fan of the former President....but facts are facts.

I agree with this accomplishment.
I give Bush credit for 2 accomplishments.
The fact we had no SUCCESSFUL terrorist attacks and the tax
cuts.

Not sure just how much credit Bush deserves for the lack of a successful attack.....a lot of people have to do their job right to avoid such an act.....by the same token....President Obama would not bear all the responsibility if some damm unforseen attack were to happen during his Presidency.
The office of President is not an omnipotent post.

I agree, but I had to give him credit for something, after 8 years in
the Oval Office.
I went ahead and was being nice.

If you give him credit for the tax cuts then you have to give him credit for all of the economic issues on my list, because thats were the result of the tax cuts.

Well..It wasn't suppose to be that way. It was a blog supporter of Obama, and I was actually curious if anything that he/she listed was of concern to other Obama supporters, and if so have they seen some sort of progress or implementation of it..as in to their satisfaction.

However, it would of made ZERO difference to post that when I started the thread because it would still look as it does now..just another slinging hash episode. :(

Okay the first question that pops to mind.....is why did you feel the need to be nice.....it would seem to go against the grain.

Then your first mistake was starting with a blog that had to stretch the point to come up with 90 accomplishments. If you had limited it to 10 legitimate accomplishments you might have gotten more response from the liberal side.

Your second mistake was not specifying that you were looking for input from the liberal side. The way it reads it is too easy to interpret as "Cmon, righties, Obama must have done something good".

First I don't believe that everyone that voted for Obama is a liberal. If you have facts of that? I do hold out that there are actually people out there looking for the best candidate regardless of the way they list themselves. I am listed as Republican, however; I vote by listening to the canidates at the time and what they have to offer, and not what party they represent.

To have minimized what was listed would of meant me choosing what "I" felt was important, and that wasn't the point of it especially since I was not a Obama supporter.

Contrary to your opposition of it just being a "blog" ..it is still someone "just like you yourself or any other person espousing their views on Presidents. Do you honestly think that a personal blog has less credibility over all than a bdsm forum?

And yes Will..I am aware of re-enrollement requirements.

I am certainly a "Moderate", and there are many other "Moderates" around here.
Many people are not hung up on political parties these days.
Most people are concerned about the "issues".

The people that seem to scream the loudest about political parties, over and over, and over ad naseum, no matter what the topic, tend to be Republicans.

I don't know about that MzMia. I've never taken the time to count the number of screams, and then actually turned masochist to decipher their party affiliation. I would tend to think it evens out based on what party won the big mans seat.

And the most glaring fact is he presided over the worst terrorist attack in the nation's history when he chose to ignore ample warnings.

But hey, what's one little mistake?

Traffic deaths:

2008 - 39,800
2007 - 41,059
2006 - 42,642
2005 - 43,443
2004 - 42,836
2003 - 42,643
2002 - 42,815
2001 - 42,196

Total traffic deaths during reign of Bush II: approximately 336,000.

Similar statistics here.

If I were a USA citizen, I would not worry about a couple of muslims on camel backs. I would worry about millions of USA motorist terrorists.
