Mine never really did heal. I had them for just over 18 months before I finally took them out 'cause even though we loved the way they looked they were stopping me from doing so many of the things i like best because they remained unhealed.
At the time though I was physically quite low which doubtless had an impact.

And as much as having them pierced hurt and taking them out was gutting, I don't miss them.. :)

Three years ago I had my nipples pierced. One healed up nicely. The other was oozing 6 months after the piercing. It never hurt, just got crusty daily. I read somewhere online that occasionally there is a microscopic imperfection in the jewelry that can cause problems,. The imperfection can not be seen or felt. I talked to my piercer about this and he decided to change the bar and see what happened. The crusting and oozing had stopped 2 days later and has never been a problem again.

I have discovered that the nipples begin to heal up almost immediately when the bars are removed. I have had to remove them for some medical procedures. The first time I waited 8 hours to replace the bars and it hurt like the dickens. After only 4 hours one side has begun to close. For that reason I have bought some plastic bars to use when metal is not permitted.

Mine never healed all the way either. Had them about 15 months before i was "done" with the crusting and the serious pain (this was during my vanilla marriage, btw, prior to any ownership of me as a slave). So i took them out. i did salt soaks, band-aids, everything suggested, and my body just wasn't going to have them.

i do also have a clit hood piercing that i got 6 years ago and it healed within 2 weeks. Still have it and have never had any issues. As others have said, the nipples just are the hardest to get to heal completely, if they ever completely do at all.

My friend has had them pierced for almost a year and they still crust, it's normal. Keep cleaning them with the solution the piercer had given you. Change the rings to barbells at 6 weeks even if they are still crusting because the rings will keep getting caught on bra's etc and will tear the skin repeatedly. After a year, if they are not better, I would advise seeing a doctor. Sorry for the late reply, but I hope this will help others.

Clit is about the fastest healing piercing you can get and nipples are among the slowest, so don't compare.

Ditto on the bars vs rings. A curved ring is lot more iritating and slows healing. My wife's first set were done with rings at the piercer's suggestion. They rejected and finally had to be removed after over a year of pain and frequent care.

Years later she was re-done with bars per a different piercer's suggestion. Way better.

You didn't have a good piercer. I say this because there wasn't enough education done. You should have known it would be a very slow process and also how to do care better. Try this, get some little cups (we use plastic med cups from the hospital) and fill with warm sterile saline and place over nipples and carefully cover with bra to hold in place. Ta Da! Simple soaking without much fuss. Soak for about 5 minutes, THEN turn your rings and remove crusties. Not before.

Ditto on the padded bra.

Had my nip done years ago...

For me, the crusting didn't stop until I put a bar in to replace the ring - which was months later. I too didn't think it'd take so long to heal, got annoyed and tried the bar, Hey presto, within the month, it was fine. I know others have said to wait a few more weeks, but I'd say get 'em changed out soon. If you do 'em quick and can be sure the new ones are sterile (hint: boil 'em), I doubt you'll have any issues.
