I could use Yahoo, or Yelp, but I would rather hear it from Collarmer's.

If you live in the San Francisco area, what are the best stores for Domme gear?

Thanks!

Mr S Leather (they have a woman's section called Madame S) and Stormy Leather. Depends exactly what you mean by "domme gear." I also get a lot of my stuff on eBay and from JT's Stockroom (which also owns Stormy Leather) by mail.

I have to agree with Ven on that one.  I had a blast shopping at Mr S when I was in San Fran for the Folsom street fair a couple of months back.  I came home with a new whip that I just had to have.  If you're talking about attire, there was a great shop just down the street from there where I purchased a new leather skirt.  My corsets I only by from Ms Martha's Corset Shoppe.  She has a profile here, but is in the Atlanta area.

One quick piece of advice.  One mistake that people tend to make when they are new is to go out and spend a fortune on toys and outfits.  These things can run you a lot of money, so it really is better to go slow.  My toy collection is pretty big, but you have to remember that I've spent a number of years putting it together.  (Merc is the only one brave enough to call Me a toy whore.)  The same goes for My waredrobe.  You really don't need that much when just starting out, especially if you're still learning to use the toys you buy.

Good advice, thanks. Yes, I have noticed the clothes and toys are definitely an investment. I plan to go slow.. I have shoes and soon boots, my next purchases will be a paddle or flogger, probably paddle and some restraints, not huge purchases and not high dollar either. I am lucky to live very close to SF and work there, so I will have fun shopping.. ..again, thanks.
