an easy one for some, have had a small amount of experience with Dommes in general,...have been chatting to an interesting Domme who describes herself as a sensual sadist, what does that mean in simple terms...lol

does it mean more or less after care, because of the sadism thing...is empathy or care lost in sadism, you know the answers im still looking

I'm more of a nurturing Domme, which to some may read like a contradiction in terms - but I think it describes my style quite well.
That said, it's all in the definition. I agree with Drifa, there's no harm in asking.

For me, sensual sadism is different than sadism as it involves caring and empathy for a boy and taking into account his needs rather than just my desire.

You might want to read up on this thread for many good arguments on sadism and sensual sadism.

I agree that you should ask the person that you are addressing. The term sensual sadist can vary from person to person, depending on how they are using it.

I consider myself a sensual sadist/femdom and for me it's more about being very touchy-feely, very intimate (while not exclusively sexual). Hair pulling, a lot of touching, contact, vs. removed and cold - like standing back and delivering a flogging, or rarely touching my partner. I thrive on physical contact, smells, breathing (the sound/feel of it), the feel of a heartbeat through skin. I like mouth-on-skin contact both ways (with or without sexual overtones), biting, slapping, etc.

Considering that LA and I are practically separated at birth and share a brain with regards to most kinky things, the fact that we see the terminology "sensual sadist" to be dramatically different means that the OP really does need to check with the woman who said it. It's totally subjective :)
