I think the happy floaty feelings and the despairing dropping feelings have to be related. For one thing, I'm told that they're processed together. Sub drop isn't just depression; it's a complete re-orientation that affects everything from mood and perception to appetite, self-awareness, and so on. Think of it this way. You've just been used. You've just been given a chance to be what you are instead of what you've been pretending to be (which is another way of saying the same thing). Especially if it's intense, it's bound to affect your morning after. quote:
