Uh, that would be a silent majority, Venatrix. Couple of things, trainwrecks bring gawkers. Swallow your disgust and search for domiguy, and look at the number of post hits on threads. Then search a couple what grease does mistress use on her strapon threads, or does mistress prepare by pissing allover herself before she queens her slave threads. Compare the counts.

There are people you have met in life you seriously dislike and avoid, I have a couple ex-wives that way, turns out I ain't no day at the fuckin' beach, now who woulda thunk that shit?

I have to deal with them. I strain my nuts not to have to take anything to heart. Oh well.

Nowhere, other than Caspar the Friendly Ghost cartoons does it mean anything.

I agree with you M. 100%

And if you are the M I think you are, it is very nice to meet up with you on these boards again :-)

Which is apparently the new modus operandi of CM. I don't watch shows like Jerry Springer and I'm not sure how long I'll stick around this time to be honest. Call me a snob, but I'm above this level of trash.

As one of those submissive ladies I am thinking this idea of sisterhood was brought about by some dude trying to promote the idea of gathering a harem of ladies and making them ok with it. I tolerate my blood sisters. I have had a couple of good female friends that were rather like myself but if I were to have thought of them as sisters it would have insulted them.. as it would me.

Over on Fet, there is a group called "The Sisterhood", for female dominants. Being an old skool feminist, I have always had that notion of female sisterhood, solidarity, that feeling that we are all in this together, etc. A submissive lady I know is vehement that she is no one's sister unless she is genetically related to them, and being in the same interest group or gender is meaningless.

What do you think? ARE we sisters under the skin? Or was old Rudyard talking through his hat?

I hear you LadyAngelika, but don't feel you one little bit. Go to some site that doesn't have it. Must be one out there for fucks sake!!!!! Let us all know the name. Elusive as the ephemeral 'Peace on Earth, Good will towards men'.

Nothing as over as Christmas.

Thanks Ron. And it's LadyAngelika. Maybe I can find one where they spell my name right too!

I sense the sarcasm in your note, and at the same time I'll call you on it because I know you are an intelligent man and I know that you are fully aware that some of the stuff going here is overboard.

All and all Ron, you know I've been here a while. And you know I've been involved here, not in some sisterhood, but in some sense of wanting to have an intelligent discussion about topics people feel the need to talk about. I mean, why do you come here? Because you have nothing better to do with your life? I think not. You were with me here 5 years ago. You know the level of contribution I've made. There are no perfect boards. But does that mean that we have to accept this level of bashing?

You also know that I've had intelligent debates, have a sense of humour, sometimes dark, that I can roll with the punches and laugh at myself. I've also had people convince me of their points of view with intelligent and meaningful posts. I however draw the line at having bigotry, violent misogyny and hate. I figure the people at Collarme wouldn't stand for that. But perhaps I'm wrong.

I haven't decided whether I'm leaving again or not. All I'm saying is that this is making me ponder. I understand that there is no point in boards being sanitary, but there need to be limits. Essentially, some of the discussions going on have hit hard limits for me and many others.

Perhaps it is the wish of the collarme community to end up like some kind of side show circus with monkeys flinging shit at one another. Personally, I'm not into scat play.

So let's forget about the issue of sisterhood for a moment and lets talk about being decent to one another as humans. There is enough hate and violence off the boards.

Call me a snob, but I'm above this level of trash.

Then please act that way, by reacting less and asserting more.

Consider the threads started by Aakasha and LadyPact.  Those women are two of the best thread-creators on the boards, even though their posting styles are very different.  Why?  Their OP's almost always make people think, and they know how to ignore or neutralize potential thread derailers in a non-dramatic way.  As a result, discussions started by them are often fruitful, enjoyable and useful, or at least fun.  I could name other names, but I won't.

You must have a gazillion stories and pearls of wisdom to share with others.  As long as the principal thread starters on the site are osf and iNeedaMztrzNowPlz6969, what do you expect to see?  Do you think threads magically create themselves?  I saw someone tell osf that the reason one of his threads was so long was that he was the only thing going on that night.  And this was before anybody was "back," so let's not personalize this onto any one guy.  There's an issue we collectively need to address, as far as I'm concerned, and that is the improvement of the quality of the boards.  So I'm personally requesting that you give serious consideration to starting threads on a semi-regular basis, the way some of the other very-experienced femdoms do.

(Also, I'd like to apologize to Francine.  I think your OP is great, and it's a topic that matters to me, and one I've thought about, and done things about, in real life, having been around politically active women for many years.  I know I've helped derail your thread completely.  It seemed mostly derailed already, and I figured this was a conversation I should get involved in at some point, so why not now.  I hope we can get back to your sisterhood topic soon.  Sorry.)

Dear LadyA (not going to make that mistace again......LOL) the spelling was entirely without guile, and so was my post, the scarcasm wasnt scarcasm, it was parody.

Yes, I agree that we should be kindler and gentler people, and some of us will sit down and reason together.

And although many of you kind and gentle people avoid the Political forum like the fuckin plague, I argue endlessly about the same sort of frustrations daily there, and am told to go to hell on a regular basis. It is indeed a cold cruel world out there, and there are a great many people in this world that don't give a rats ass fuck about you or me or anyone else, they want you to go off. It is what makes them shoot their respective wads (both girls and boys do this).

So, I do hear you, but I cannot other than accept this entirely human phenomenon, and occasionally bemoan it. But there is no grassroots, armlinked organizations that will change the slithering reptilian calling of humans.

Though, people have got to try to overcome the natures. Its our nature as well.

Thanks Ron. ;-)

You know, to get back on topic, whether it be sisterhood or "humanhood" (I know the term doesn't exist, I'm just trying to make a parallel), it will always be a pipe dream because some will always sabotage good efforts. This whole thread has been a perfect example of this.

Thanks! Yesterday you send me nice emails to defend your friend and lend me an ear, and today you partake in this.

I was feeding her back her same advice from here: http://www.collarchat.com/fb.asp?m=2973139

I guess Domiguy is proving his point that sisterhood really doesn't exist because women can be catty.

Ok, Domiguy wins. I hope you are proud of yourselves! ;-)

Catty? Really?

More frustrated...this is what was said all the while.

I said the same about a sisterhood a couple pages ago.Perhaps it was missed via the chaos. It is void because we get ugly. I also rarely take offense to what people say. Let them spew. This is why we live here. Freedom of Speech.

I am usually rather sarcastic. Rarely Catty.

I just believe that if you would leave CM because of a poster, some faceless guy, at that...it's rather sad. To give s/o that much power because of their WORDS...really?  Which is all they are...WORDS. You allow them the power you choose to give them.
