Status: offline 		I was just wondering whether there were any other sites like this?  I wouldn't mind paying as long as it would cut down on the pro or people only after money.  Any suggestions?

Status: offline 		Actually, no. There are plenty of other sites in the theme of collar me and they have just as many if not more pros, fakes, and so on. It's a fault of the online community and a tribute to the fact that such behavior works. There is no magic site with only real people no matter how much they pay. In my experience, the pay sites attract MORE fakes, money grubbers, and low lives because they know the people there have at least some money to pay for the subscription.

The best way is to learn how to spot them, put info in your profile to discourage them, and have a little laugh at your own foolishness when they get you.

Several. Alt.com and Fetlife spring to mind. That said, this is da innerwebz, and there are scammers and pros everywhere. Learn to recognize the signs, and you will be able to weed them out and move on.

Many pay sites are also infested with scammers. They use phished CC info, so joining costs them nothing. Unfortunately, the folks on pay sites are often more easily taken, since they believe that scammers wouldn't pay to join.

not sure how long youve been here, but let the dust settle a bit yet. theres the usual rush flurry cos youre new (maybe) and they all want to get you before someone else does.

ive visited most of them and i have to say that for community and meeting great people this is pretty much the best there is (in my book anyway)

Status: offline 		Alt.com and Fetlife have already been mentioned, and Bondage.com is another. They've all got good points and bad points, but Collarme is by far the best IMO. It's not perfect, but we live in an imperfect world, and Collarme does a hell of a lot more things right than they do wrong. If I had to pick only one, this would be the one.

I have memberships on all 3 major sites, alt. fet and cm.  CM is the easiest to meet people, but in my experience, there are more people on here out for wanking material, and SO many liars!  But I did meet a ton of international people here that I truly enjoyed getting to know and consider friends.  I like the community aspect of it, especially the boards.  Met probably 8 people here who I "met" in person.

Fet is harder to meet people, it's more of a myspace for kinksters. You really have to use the boards to get any attention and meet new people, and there's no sorting features to browse profiles.  It is good though for meeting locals and signing up for groups that will let you know about munches and such.  I also like the relationship status stuff you can do there which is harder to do here, and the kink check list is better, IMO. Met 1 person on Fet I met in person, though a few more are on the horizon for friendship and possible play as Master requested me to do.

I never had a pay account on alt.  but I met men who did, who I dated. Master had a pay account, and found me through there.  I would liken that one to the most traditional "dating" site i.e. match.com.  I met I think 3 people from here who I met in person, Master most importantly

Now, as you already realize that you are searching for something akin to bigfoot. A Domme that doesn't want your cash...I have heard that such a creature might exist but in every photo I have seen they are blurry, covered in hair and large, lovely and lumbering.

I have spent a great deal of time over at fet since being escorted off of the premises of CM. It's nothing more than six of one half dozen of the other.

What you need to do is seperate yourself from the masses. Whether it be at Fet, CM or church..If you are not capable of presenting yourself in an interesting and intirguing manner then you are forced to have to fight it out wih all of the other floundering male subbies that surround you.

Status: offline 		I've always considered Collarme to be the best of the sites available.  There are others, however, I have found more real time people here than anywhere else.  Fetlife is difficult to use.  You have to join groups to be part of any forum.  The hard part is finding the right local group for you.  Alt is more a meat market.  That is why most of the pictures there seem to be cock and pussy shots.  Most that I have heard from on alt want a fast one night stand.  There are no forums in alt.  I've never been much into Bondage.com so can't say anything about it.

People can and do meet others on all 4 sites.  I have met people through Fetlife and Alt.  I would still say Collarme is way above either of those sites.  These forums are full or great advice and experiences. 

If you REALLY want to meet someone then going to your local munch or event is the best way.  You meet few fakes at events and munches.  Even if you do not find your perfect partner right away, if you make friends at those places eventually someone will hear about someone who is also looking and might be a good match for you.  If there are no munches near you then plan your vacations times and long weekends to attend what munches and events you can get to with a bit of a drive.  That's what I did.  Gary and I met at an event.  I traveled about 100 miles to get to that event and Gary traveled about 700 miles.

Status: offline 		On Alt you use to be able to see the profile if someone e-mailed you. Now they wont let you see the profile unless you upgrade. Its never been worth it for me to do that. It was a waste of money. Well, Unless you like video of a guy fucking himself with a Ginormous whale size dildo. That was hot!
