someone emailed me THIS link.

It allows you to send printed postcards to U.S. Troops.  Choose a design, and you can have an available statement printed, or you can personalize it.

Nifty site. I know on my facebook, someone had printed an address to send cards to the troops and we found out that the military doesn't deliver to "nameless" soldiers. I'm glad you found this site and hopefully they make the deliveries and can brighten some soldiers days with thoughts from home.

I just thought that I'd pass it along (after sending one myself), since I know that there are many here who are strong supporters of our troops (regardless of their own view on the war).  I figure it's the least we can do, as small a thing as it is.

GT, I'd really like to thank you for posting this.  I tend to think that many folks don't know just how much a few words from someone back home can lift the spirits of those who are away right now.  Especially during this time of year, it is so hard for them to keep their morale up because they so much want to be back with their families.  Anything from home lifts their spirits, even if it is someone they've never met before wishing them a safe return.

Thank you, Greedy, for being thoughtful enough to share this.

believe me, Lady P... it was my pleasure and (silly as it may seem) my duty.  I may not be able to serve in uniform, but my Dad told me that even those not in uniform can serve by supporting those who are.

Warmest wishes, as always, to you, Mr P and clip.
