Actually, that brings up an interesting thought and a good place to ask.  I've been considering a scrotal piercing, just a simple ring on the bottom of the sac, in the middle, running parallel with the 'seam', possibly on it so it's better centered.  Do any males have such a thing?  Has anyone even seen such a thing?  Is such a thing even possible?  You'd be surprised how little information there is on that one out there on them nifty innerwebs.

A qualified piercer can most accurately answer these questions when he/she meets with you 1:1 about your particular anatomical configuration.  Don't hesitate to interview a bunch before you find someone you're comfortable with.  We folks of the boards can't give you accurate or complete information because every body is different, and how you are "arranged" is different from others - and only a qualified piercer can answer the question for sure.

Also, if it is really that rare of a piercing you may need to find a piercer you trust and then just go for it - and see what happens, and be ready to take it out if you develop a skin rejection or infection.  Just make sure you have someone who knows where the important bits of your anatomy are so you don't have any permanent damage.  [;)]

Quite true.  The problem being, I did find a place I would have it done.  One place, in the entire western half of the US.  Thankfully, it's about 4 blocks from my house.  But, it's a place that people literally travel thousands of miles just to go to for a piercing.  Sooo, it's difficult to even have a chance to talk with someone there.  They're a tad busy.  But yeah, I do want to get in to talk with them.  Another issue is my own schedule.  Difficult to get in there when they're even open.  Aaaaanyway, yeah, that part is planned, but, in the meantime, trying to find other experiences. :)

BKSir  here is a link that may help you with more information about the different types of fenital piercings.  I was going to get just a prince albert piercing until I seen the apadravya piercing so I got the apadravya piercing instead.  It got infected about 2 months after I got it so I went to the Doctors and got antibiotics for the infection.  Since then I have not had any problems with it and I have had it for around 3 years now and like it very much.  Check around more and you might find a piercer that is qualifed to do it that is not so busy.  UniqueRaven is correct about what she suggests.

Awesome link and sub links there.  :)  Thank you very much.  Good info, albeit some rather disturbing images LOL

Your welcome BKSir.  LOL yes there are them images.  This link also has piercing for Females too and a lot of other info.  Some of images are graphic but it shows the type of piercing and where it is placed etc...    Happy piercing

And please remember, with a triangle make sure you get a piercer who has done them before and knows what he's doing.  Only a small percentage of the female population is actually anatomically "arranged" for a triangle piercing - and if you get pierced incorrectly it can cause permanent damage.  i really, really wanted a triangle but after a consultation with a very qualified piercer it was determined i couldn't have one correctly "threaded" - hence why i went with the VCH.

Good luck to you - let us know how it goes!  [:)]

I'm fairly certain I'm built for it. If I'm not I'd be very surprised. It's one of my biggest fears, to go to someone and have it botched. That's why I've waited on it for so long. Maybe this year I'll finally email Elayne Angel and see if she'll be in my area sometime. She's the only one I'd go to for this.

If I do end up getting it done, I'll be sure to share the experience [:)]

I have done scrotal piercings. It sounds to me like your wanting something called a hafada piercing, which is actually very easy and tends to be a quick healing and less migratory piercing.
Most body piercers should be able to do this.

Hello everyone,

Hi Reform,

Please forgive me the late reply (things around here are hectic!).

Where the piercing used to be is an indent.  You can see where the piercing used to be, very clearly, but the hole itself has closed up.

Having the same thing happen to my tongue occasionally (If I neglect to wear jewellery in the tongue piercing for a month or so, I get a "membrane" of skin over the top of my tongue that's basically healed, and requires re-opening; sometimes it is easy to do, sometimes I wonder why I chose to just pop the barbell back in, rather than going to buy a hypodermic needle!).  When the piercing hole is a little harder to re-open, my tongue is sore for a few days, but there is never any harm done to my tongue, nor the original piercing itself.

I haven't tried to force jewellery back through my hood, knowing that I would be basically re-piercing myself.  I'd rather not mess with it; goodness knows what harm I could do to myself!.

If a time came where I was in a position to have it re-pierced, and I actually had the desire to, I'd go to a professional piercer again.

I hope this helps! If not, please get in touch!

I wish you well.

The problem with hood piercings is the tunnel only remains straight whilst the jewelry is in but once taken out the tunnel becomes a squiggle. They heal well but once the jewelry is removed they can be near on impossible to re-insert because getting a piece of jewelry through a squiggle is not an easy task. I have managed to do it in a bath with lots of soapy water but there is always a risk of opening up the inside.

dang 14g in the hood?

i agree with the posts.. leave the clit alone, pierce the hood, the labia, and let the piss heal it up. i have had my PA for 6 years now. i really like having it. bled awhile, but healed quickly

Reform, I see that you are in Irvine, CA. May I recommend a piercer in Hollywood that did mine, i know it's a drive but would so be worth it. I actually got the recommendation from Elayne Angel to go to this guy. It's Roger Rabb!t, and he works at Prix on Sunset strip. He did my VCH not too long ago when I went back to LA for a visit, and he was excellent, especially since my anatomy was not ideal for VCH, but he was able to overcome that and I am very pleased with the result. If you still prefer Elayne, i found somewhere the calendar for when she herself would be doing piercings in CA, and I think the dates are coming up shortly

Hello everyone,

Hi masterlink65,

Yep, the piercer put a 14g CBR in.  14g is the standard "starting" gauge for the majority of piercings (ears and eyebrows are about the only areas I can think of that don't start out with 14g jewellery; the ears are 18g, I don't know about the eyebrow, but from what I see, the gauge is around a 16).  Anything less in other piercings (16,18...) can increase the risk of migration/rejection (the body might decide to expel it, like it does a splinter of wood) and anything bigger will stress the piercing, and the skin, and cause the jewellery to reject (I actually had this problem with my nipple piercings; I had my nipples pierced twice.  I had standard 14g barbells and rings in, but both times, couldn't retain the jewellery; the piercings migrated, eventually almost "dropping out" the bottom of my breast (both times I removed the jewellery before it actually fell out on its own).  Anything smaller/lighter would have just been pushed out by my body, which is why I didn't even consider "downsizing".  The nipples are the only area of my body that I've ever had piercing complications with.  The rest of my piercings have been completely fine.

I wish you well.

Thanks a lot for the info, I'll take a look into his shop. Travelling to get it done right is something I'm totally willing to do.

WayHome -> RE: Genital piercing!! (1/21/2010 9:00:13 AM)

If you've never had genital pircing then hood is the ONLY way to go. Easy, fast healing, safe, minimal interuption of normal activities including sex.

Pretty much all other genital piercings involve a lot more aftercare, healing time, activity restrictions, and none are likely to give you as much reward right off the bat.

Also, if you don't like it you can remove it and it will heal over remarkably fast and there is no risk of abcess from removing it.

Things like labia piercings or any other "surface" piercing that goes through significant epithelial tissue are more painful, take longer to heal, risk migration, and should not be simply removed and forgotten on a whim due to the risk of trapping infection inside and causing an abcess. Deep surface to surface piercings (like anything else) can get infected and if they do then it's actually safer to leave the piercing in until the infection clears which can be a real pain. hood piercings pretty much don't matter because the tissue is so thin and well perfused that infections are self-limiting and removal is safe to do at home with no special reatment.

Labia, etc should be reserved for more "advanced" piercees.

Go for the hood!

Leto

BTW, if you really want the triangle then I would hold out for Elayne to do it. She invented it and is probably still the only one with enough experience to trust with your naughty bits.

I've never actually seen one in person but am intrigued by the potential. Anyone with one want to volunteer? :-)

Leto
