One that I HAD to put down here was something I came across late at night. I was flipping through the channels and I stopped on a Japanese horror flick about Ninja vampires... Nothing too odd about that until I tell you that it was on the Spanish Channel. My sides hurt for days because I was laughing so hard.

AngelOfMusic: I loved Memento, and it certainly is a 'mess up your head' film for me.

MissTori: the film that fits that description for me was Crimes of the Future, an early (student?) film by David Cronenberg ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065591/ ). It was excrutiatingly boring but, unlike other boring movies I've seen, it seemed like something interesting might just be about to happen, so I couldn't let myself go to sleep. I was so wrong!

Angel Heart with Mickey Rourke.  I think that was the name.

I would have to say in the bdsm genre it would be ""Fashionistas"" put out by evil empire video, and in the mainstrem I would say the adult version of ""snow white"" with Sigourney Weaver

Yeah, I liked that one, too!

"Silent Hill" was an odd one.

Since I am uber picky about movies and refuse to watch horror or sci-fi I probably don't have as big of a list of weird movies to draw from but I remember a movie called Shy People from the 80's that was just weird as hell. People living in the swamp like freaks. One brother was kept locked in a corn crib because he was "touched"..............it was just too freaking weird, and not good.

wow.  I'm very surprised that no one mentioned Memento...  maybe it's just me.  >.<

Memento was the first movie that came to mind when I saw the subject line of this thread.

i would still have to go with The Passion Of Christ...it was, by far, the biggest waste of time and money i've hever experienced. it left me with a feeling of "why the hell did i let myself get talked into going to see this dreadful movie"

You did know it was in Aramic with English subtitles? That may explain your confusion.
