I make resolutions every year. I will have accomplished six out of the seven that I made for 2009 as long as I get a tattoo before Thursday. I use my resolutions as a guideline for things that I want to change or better about myself and I always add in a few things off of my to do before I die list.

2010 Resolutions...
jump out of a plane (the only one undone from my 2009 list)
loose 20 pounds
stop biting my nails
Become employed and have 25% of my income be from my photography business
tattoo
Baseball game at Wrigley Field and Fenway.
Giants Football game.
A vacation with the man.
Incorporate him into the lives of my daughters.


What are yours if you make them?

Oh my, I hadn't really thought of them...but here goes...

To be living with my husband in the US.
To get matching tattoos...(I have none, he has several)
To get my home on the market...not as easy as it sounds
To go back on the Raw Diet (80-20%)
To get my BP and blood sugar back to normal levels
To be self-employed

OK, now I'm committed! Thanks Aileen!
To get back to my previous weight...and maybe a few extra pounds off for good measure.

I'm finally going to get this mole on my back taken off.

Especially now that there's hair on it and it seems to pulsate.

Okay, sooooo I'm going to give more money to Charity.

More workouts and more dieting.  I already resolute no more gizzards in my diet (due to the cholesterol levels).

The only New Year's Resolution I have ever kept is from 1982.   I resolved to never again cut My chin shaving.  (I have a scar there from a bicycle wreck when I was a kid)

I have had a full beard ever since.

I want to get my health in better order (lower blood sugar, lower cholesterol, lower bp, etc.) and in the process lose the last of the weight I've slowly been shedding for several years.

I want to take my GRE, get into graduate school and be on my way to my master's degree.

I want to do better at saving money so we can make progress toward moving to a bigger, better and more private place.

Yep, that's the biggies....Easier typed than done[8D]

I was thinking that I'm going to start making a lot more political noise about getting us out of Nafta this comming year.
Calling senators' and congressmen's offices and I was thinking I'd have some bumperstickers made up in red and white that say "DUMP NAFTA!" and send them to their offices and to a few talk radio hosts like Howie Carr up in Boston.

Stop banging my head in the wall when those daft politicians comes up with another stupidity.

Get my hydroponic garden room up and running.
Investigate aquaponics and either decide it's not for me or else get a full aquaponic system up and running.
Have one huge honking vegetable garden outside.  Convert some lawn to garden.
Finish the damn outside porch tiling job once and for all.
Get my fasting blood sugar down to below 100 and my postprandial to 120 or less consistently.
Lose at least 10 pounds.
Begin a side business.
Begin a relationship with a sub woman.
And, since Aileen brought it up - get no tattoos whatsoever.

My resolution (yes...just one) is GetItDone.

Rather than bog myself down with a long list, i am adopting that as my mantra. I know what i need to do so i need to shut up and get it done.
