You think youre qualified to determine my intentions? You dont know me. but if you make no sense and are calling someone names or dishonest, but have no logical argument to back up your statements, I will call you on it even if I dont like the said poster you are being illogical with.

Yes, that's a good example Anne of what I was talking about when I said strident and aggressive. Just to qualify, I'm talking about women and men.
More examples: "NO SCAMMERS!!!!!!!", "NO MEN NO MEN NO MEN!!!", "I am not a bank ladies! Go find some other sucker to leech off of!", "Can't any of you morons read? I said I only want ...(fill in blank)", "NO FAKERS OR GAME PLAYERS!", "Be prepared to verify yourself on cam OR I WILL BLOCK YOU!!!"

Any of those things could be said in a less aggressive way with less venom and it would still get the point across while making the profile seem more appealing to the person who was viewing it.

did I find a angry hornest (spelling ? ) nest in this thread.
and some good views too.
I think I must go back and review my own profile now.
I know that even I do not try to come across as negative I do more often then I am willing to admit.
But I do know also it it because at times something gets lost in the translation between my mother language and english.
Most of my friends know that and ask me if they need clarifaction, but strangers do get mad at me .......

Two things come to my mind.

1. I never thought of the people who posted these 'warnings' etc. as angry. Maybe disappointed but mostly clearly expressing what they don't want/need. By clearly expressing that there are scammers, fakers, etc., they also send a warning to new members, who might not be aware (yet) about all this.

2. If, supposedly, someone is indeed very angry about a past 'connection' on CM that did not turn out to be what he/she wanted it to be, would it be better if that anger was dealt with first before jumping right back into exposure? If it is indeed anger, will that affect how a 'new connection' is approached, e.g. with mistrust?

You expect someone to call you sir because you have the ability to type and click send?
Respect is earned, and it takes more than identifying yourself as a dominant.

You know i too have the ability to hit a key(s) on the keyboard and click send, and imagine this i am a submissive:).

Respect is something no one here has the right to claim here. If you want to be treated in a respectful way then use your mind prior to starting an anti cm users thread. If in question if the anti user has ever been written about hit the search, it will take you a good year to read all of them.

Perhaps I am really from a time of antiquity, but you know I was taught you don't enter a new place complaining about everything regarding that place. It is not a good idea.

Before this thread disappears, which maybe it could considering how hot and heavy the personal insults are flying... .. and since the topic seems to be focussed less on the actual topic now, and on the Poster himself. I was wondering:

Did anyone go to his profile and read his long document in the journal? I did. I found it coherent, grammatically ok--and fascinating. The person who posts on the board doesn't seem to be the person who wrote that document. (I don't mean that literally...I am assuming he did write both on boards and that journal) It's just that one is so carefully considered and rather well-written, logically constructed. And the posts are so different from that style. You don't have to agree with the ideas in the journal document, to find it worth the time it takes to read. Surprisingly, I found myself agreeing with many of his ideas.

Just wondering if anyone else has read it? The very last paragraph is a "ball of string" analogy--wow I found it way cool.. and could relate to it myself.

I just skimmed a bit of it, it's kinda TL;DR for me at least, but it does seem like the same person. The writing style is similar - very bang bang sentences, one subject and one predicate in many of them, direct and to the point.

I've actually seen more than a few flashes of insight from osf, and more than that I think he's actually pretty intelligent. He's definitely a troll, no doubt, I'd be willing to bet actual money that he spelled "merit" wrong on purpose just to see how many people would jump in and say hurr durr u kant spell lulz ur dum. And that's trolling. The fact that at times I find it incredibly amusing is only incidental.

Anyway I don't think he's going to be changing his posting style any time soon so everyone who gasps at how awful and shocking and whatnot he is would be better off using the ignore button rather than waiting for the mods. But that might entail too much personal responsibility.

funny, just what I was thinking. Can't believe someone has so little of a life that he has to go on just about every thread no matter what it's about, just to start trouble...the way he acts I was sure he was some teen on winter break, especially since he just seemed to come out of no where as of late, imagine my suprise when I saw how old he is, or how old his profile says he is. (no I didn't go look, it popped up on my homepage one day....made sure that will never happen again...lol)

I've put him on block, which I've only done with one other person as long as I've been on CM so that says a lot. I wish others would do the same so we could discuss the actual thread and not give him any more attention

I'm all for a good debate, but to enter a thread just to find someone to argue with...that's just sad

Not necessarily. I prefer block and delete. Creating an angry profile defeats the purpose if you (general) are looking for a Dom/Master as it puts you (general) in a bad light. Why come off as an angry, negative person when it's easy to just block and delete?
