Hmm, only 5

Jim Morrison because I consider him to be one of the best poets
John Wayne because I absolutly just adored him
Robert Kennedy because I am sure that his conversation would be thought provoking and intelligent
Winston Churchill for the same reason as Bobby Kennedy
My daughter because she is sure to provide much needed comic relief

First two people just popped into my head

1.  Mnottertail aka Ron. (I don't know, something about him and he keeps it real)

2.  Thorn, the one man I know if I were submissive, I'd submit to in a minute, I know him from gloriabrame.com,  The man holds a special place in my soul.

3.  Mya Angelo, a most brilliant woman, author, poet, she's been there done that and is stronger and most giving of herself for it.

4.  My mother, because I have so many unanswered questions about her, my childhood, my family and only she can answer most of those questions.

5.  Brad Pitt, because once he's in my place, he's not ever getting out.  I'm locking him in.

I could think of many more, and especially from CM, but this is my five limit.

Rosa

I had to change one, but if I could add a sixth

6.  Jamie Kennedy, I'd want him to do his white boy hip hop act to keep me in stiches through out most of the evening.  My mind is serious enough most of the time, (honestly,) I prefer to have some laughter in the mix.

1. Christ (We need to chat about his father's consistency and his personal timing)
2. Gandhi (To learn effective 'passive aggressive' techniques.)
3. Aristotle (Logic & Pathos defined)
4. Julius Caesar (Pragmatic organization, effective leadership, and vision. Besides - he's 'family'.)
5. George Washington (To learn what it feels like to be offered the job of 'King' and turn it down.)

  1. Mnottertail (Ron) ~ because he is a mate and he is Mnottertail and for great conversation
  2. Merc & beth ~ I need help to lower the level of a case of single malt scotch and for great conversation
  3. Cloudz ~ Great conversations and to help spice up the evening....  <<VVWEG>>
  4. MHOO314 ~  Great conversations
  5. Neets ~ To keep Ron under control and 'cause I love her..
Additional personel are:
  • candystripper,
  • fyre
  • dina
  • riotgirl
The latter are to serve and entertain in the best Gorean manner......<<Roars with laughter and starts thinking how many kegs of fosters will be needed, 'Roo steaks, Crock cutletts, Bufflo roast and Prawns fresh caught that day..... Have to let Neets organise the deserts..... Whilst I organise the dungeon gear >>

I would invite the following:
Bill O'Reilly... I am so drawn to his arrogance.
Geo Washington...To learn about early American History.
John Forbes Nash...To learn about math, physics, and living with schizophrenia.
Former Pres. Geo Bush...To learn about family.
The Dahli Lama...Obviously, for enlightenment.

Michelangelo...true artistic genius
Leonardo Da Vinci...true inventive and artistic genius
Andy Warhol...oddity factor
Jackson Pollack...alcoholic factor
Beethoven....true musical genius

A table full of artists...what a wild, free thinking meal that would be.

THANKS Bear,
Glad you included beth in your list as an "entry". I didn't have any woman at my party. Can I add Cleopatra as the serving slave girl?

Tell you what Bear, you set the date and time, I'll bring the Single Malt. I prefer the smoky Islay variety, such as Laphroaig; but will compromise with Oban. Of course it depends on the time of year. The downside of a SoCal lifestyle is that it's never really cold enough to have an internal 'fire' embered by a snifter of Laphroaig, and a roaring fireplace. Perhaps a Glenmorangie, 'Crafted by the 16 men of Tain', would be better suited for a BBQ.
