Greetings

I had noodles for lunch yesterday. Therese really thick flavor full egg noodles my mother buy in Sweden. However that got me thinking. What is really the difference between noodles and pasta? Is it not made of the same stuff? What is the difference do anyone here know?

I wonder if noodles and meat sauce would be a good dish. Exchanging spaghetti for noodles.

I wish you well

The story goes that Marco Polo brought the method for making noodles home with him from China, and thats how the Italians got into spaghetti and pasta et al.

Well I am obese so I really should not give advice. But perhaps going for a walk after the meal?

I wish you well

I would think sauce with no HFCS would be a must.   But like with bread- I eat whole wheat.  If I eat white for a few days- I pack on bloat.

So- a whole wheat noodle might be good.  Maybe.

Noodles use eggs along with the flour and water and, generally, pasta does not.

Or rice noodles. Whereas pasta is made with wheat.

it is a pastry - that has creme cheese in it- Italian I think.  VERY sweet and lots of calories.

There are approximately 374 calories in a small serving of Cannoli. This number will vary depending on the portion size.
