Two days ago, 1/6/10 @ 14:15 hours EST, I tried "Veet brand, Sensitive formula, Hair Removal Gel Cream.  It performed well (on MY extremely coarse pubic hair) after the max retention time of 10 minutes with no burning of scrotum, shaft, or surrounding area.  It DID however MILDLY burn, after about 5 minutes, the tissues immediately around the ANUS (where I accidentally got the cream). There also have been no residual effects over the past days (again for me).  It is unknown how this will work for anyone else, but the above is factual for ME.  I plan to try a repeat performance after the recommended 72 hours as I missed a few spots and did not get as 'smooth' as I was hoping...
I will keep you posted on further applications as they occur...

Since i didn't reply on the original thread i'll post now just some other ideas - especially since you're now relatively "clean".

Once you have the area bare, the Seiko Cleancut Personal Shaver is ideal for maintenance. Even if you have just one day's worth of stubble, running over it with this electric razor is REALLY easy and quick, and leaves the area very, very smooth, with no nicks, cuts, cream, water, or mess. Regular use and maintenance makes it even better.

If you do decide to try shaving again, i wholeheartedly recommend "Coochy" brand cream - it is a clear gel with herbal ingredients, and it is AMAZING at preventing nicks and cuts, as well as any of the "red bumps" that happen after shaving. The protective spray is worth it too.

Good luck to you and thanks for letting us know how it went.

I use Nair bikini cream (vanilla smoothie) whenever i want to shave that area and i only have to leave it on for about 6 min. for those few that i do miss i just run over it with a razor and i'm smooth as a baby's behind.

good luck

I like the Veet too.  It burns a bit but I find it works way better than shaving on the wrinkly parts!
