wow again im in complete awe.This isnt kindergarden.I dont care whos on collarme or whos allowed to be and as for curiosty of a profile if it didnt interest me then thats just me.Its just a question peeps and not one even personal to me.I didnt read the fine print where it said only ask questions important to everyone.If the question isnt for you then dont post.

That was not the point to any of the replies to your OP. Just didn't find your questions that relevant plus your OP smacks dab of strongly implying that anyone who does create a profile here needs to create a profile according to a set standard which many do not feel they are able to. As someone already stated, many people are not able to post photos due to the high potential of job loss, etc.

i have met some amazing and wonderful Doms who have neither pictures nor much text, simply due to their work and public commitments, and risk they take by being "discovered" on a BDSM site. i don't think pics or text make anyone any more "real" than the next.

And Jeffff, you are just confirming my theory that you only eat foods that start with "P" (pancakes, pot roast, potatoes, pork chops, and now pizza.....)

If you understand that about yourself, may I suggest you apply it to all other users? Expecting people to have pictures and detailed profiles is expecting them to present themselves as a product for inspection by the masses. Just as high-end retailers don't normally advertise in your local Sunday paper, many users choose to target their "pitch" to a smaller number of people than just anyone with an internet connection.

I imagine that most users understand that having a picture will result in more views of their profile. Each individual does their own analysis of whether the benefit of more profile views is worth the costs of exposure (including, potentially, a ton of mail from unsuitable matches). I think that system is a good one. I think requiring people to post pictures and more detailed profiles only encourages the "supermarket" aspect of a site like this. And although I understand the necessity of applying sales techniques when trying to get things for myself (relationship, job, etc.), I think that fully internalizing the notion of human beings as commodities is spirit-draining to the individual and society.

Your profile expressed an interest in learning new things every day, an interest that I share. I hope that my post helps you in this.

First of all lmao off to some of the posts on this thread...still laughing..

My personal response is this: I think that people who dont know who they are or who cant be themselves shouldnt be allowed on here. I think that anyone who starts off a conversation by calling me a slut or some name like that shouldnt be allowed on here. I think that anyone who wants to control me when i they dont even know anything about me doesnt need to be on her. people who cant shower/bathe on a regular basis. oh and you know those people in the chatrooms and forums who use all the icons. those people shouldnt be on here. anybody who doesnt have a brain and use it. there are so many people for me that shouldnt be on CM.

The truth is they are. we just have to deal with it and move on.
