You all don't know me. My name is Linda and I was married to Jeff, who you all knew as Spinner of Tales. I'm sorry to have to share bad news, but Jeff passed away on Dec. 20th. He was having dinner with his family and he had a heart attack. He mentioned this board to me and I know he had fun here - lots of lively discussion and debate. I just wanted you all to know what happened so no one would think he just disappeared. I'll be keeping his computer active for a while, so if any of you respond here, I'll see it. Thank you all. I was wondering what had happened to him, Linda I am so very very sorry for your loss, my wishes and prayers are with you and your family. I enjoyed Jeffs contributions to the forum, he seemed a damn good guy. I will miss him. I cannot imagine the pain you are feeling. My heart and soul goes out to you all. RIP Spinner/Jeff Sadly Lucy

I'm so sorry for your loss and wish there was something I could do to ease the pain. His passing makes these boards a little darker.. he will be missed.

I'd noticed his absence and wondered but I had thought he was on vacation or busy with the holidays. I'm terribly sorry to hear about your loss and you have my deepest condolences. He'll be greatly missed.

Linda I enjoyed Jeff's posts immensely; he seemed like a really good person. It's hard to believe that he is gone... I am terribly sorry for your loss, and thank you for letting us know what happened.

Linda, My condolences to you and your family. I did not know your husband and apparently that was my loss. May God bless your family and watch over you during this difficult time.

I've been wondering that too. There for a while I just kinda figured maybe he was occupied with the holidays and so forth, but it seemed to me like he ought to have turned back up by now. To Linda: Jeff and I used to bash heads over in the Politics and Religion section. I think that's where he spent most of his time, if the volume of his posts there is anything to go by. I suppose we annoyed each other, heh, but I think that we respected each other too. He was an intelligent man who could conduct a debate with good will and a touch of panache. I will miss him. I'm so sorry to hear this. Please accept my condolences. He was an intelligent and thoughtful man who had kindness towards his fellows. A rare person and one who will be missed.

My condolences and best wishes to you and your family, Linda. Spinner (Jeff) and I disagreed often on the political topics here, but I think he was having as much fun with the sparring and jabs as I do. He had a great sense of humor. He will be missed.
