ORIGINAL: maleinalabama I would love to be able to stay in the bedroom with my Lady instead of us going into the bathroom to indulge. Other than piles and piles of comforters on top of a vinyl sheet, which is a bitch to clean afterwards, as we do not want the mattress ruined. Does anyone have a better way to do this without having to wash a bazillion loads of laundry, not to say nothing about the loss of resulting spontaneity??? I have lurked and read for years, and someone always seems to have an answer. Thanks in advance!!! Although this is not something I would be involved in, they make mattress covers that are lined on the mattress side with plastic. Very easy to find in the twin size (for young bed wetters), but I'm sure they make them for the larger size beds. It will protect the mattress quite well. Also why do you need "piles and piles" of comforters over a vinyl sheet? I can understand not wanting to have bare skin on the vinyl (even though it is a turn on for some), but with a mattress cover, one vinyl sheet and an inexpensive lighterweight blanket, if your concern is to protect the mattress that will do it. The mattress cover and the lighterweight blanket should fit into a home washer and dryer even if the bed is a king size. Comforters can be difficult to put in a home machine.
