I know I know this is incredibly cheesy, but it was a positive experience thanks to CM.

I met my husband here in September of 2007, I was in Chicago, he was in Sydney...but we hit it off so well that I had to fly over and meet him as soon as I could...and I stayed. After living together a year, he proposed in Nov. 2008.

And yesterday afternoon I became his wife. I am blissfully happy.

So this is not only a post about my positive experience, but hopefully a post of hope for people reading. It's easy to find play partners on CM, but it is also possible to find a life partner.

I wish everyone else the same luck I had in finding a wonderful man (or woman) to share their life with.

Apparently I have a stomach bug that was written off as pre-wedding nerves...except it's still here post-wedding. LOL so we're just having a leisurely weekend at a nice hotel downtown before heading back to the suburbs. This coming week is going to be spent showing my mom around Sydney til she goes home, then he has another week off that we can spend together.

It's so surreal. I don't think of myself as a 'wife' yet. I think it needs to sink in!

Congrats to you and SFM.  I truly hope your married life together is filled with love, laughter, and happiness (and many happy and healthy children, if that is what you both wish).  Marriage can be such hard work, but is so so worth it.  If you need any "housewife-y tips" (like the asparagus one I gave you) or support of any kind, please get in touch!.

Ahhh that is so cool. It has been nice to watch a bit of your process, I remember you going over there and now lookie, you are married. You are photogenic (a tad hard on yourself) you look beautiful! Congratulations to both of you. I am happy for you and thanks for sharing, very cool.
