That is too adorable.
My dog, Gabriel used to say "i love you" like that - but only if you came in the door and didn't show him lovings right away. Man I miss him

Too cute!

I taught my dogs at a young age that whining was unacceptable. The female "got it", but the rather creative male discovered that "yawning noises" were not on the no-no list, and took that activity to the logical extreme. You can probably imagine the result.

Unfortunately, the sight of a fully grown, 85lb rottie whineyawning was just too funny for me to do anything but laugh about it.
