My Dom and I have been wanting to expand our play at home, unfortuneatly sometimes people are in the bedroom and we dont want them to be able to know what we are into. Anyone have any suggestions for inexpensive and discreet items or ways to play?

Why not just keep your toys in a locked box in the back of the closet or under the bed? You can usually find a decent too box that you can lock for pretty cheap. We had a similar problem, but that seemed to work well. Anything larger or not distinctly kink (rope, candles, rubber gloves, etc..) we threw in a plastic tub and shoved it under the bed as well. As they say: out of sight, out of mind. There's a site dedicated to hide-able bondage furniture, too, but I forget the name of it.

My ex kept all his stuff in big rubbermaid containers in a corner. Until he started pulling stuff out the first time we played, I would never have guessed what was in there, nor was I curious. I just figured it was just the usual stuff being stored.

I don't know that your gear needs to be discrete (unless you're talking about getting furniture) just put it in your toy-box when you're done, I think that's pretty standard. [sm=idea.gif]Unless, you're looking for advise such as: while the Hitachi is the best vibrator out there, it's really loud.

You can also keep in mind the philosophy of "pervertables" (i.e., "Yes, that LOOKS like a kitchen spatula, but it's really a paddle that leaves interesting marks.") My M-i-L totally snoops everything if they watch the farm for us when we are on vacation. So anything that I don't want to have to explain later gets shoved into a closet which has a good deadbolt lock. We installed the deadbolt after she used a paperclip to defeat the standard type bedroom doorknob lock one time. Honestly, if it were up to me, I'd make a run to the XXX store and come back with the gawd-awfullest novelty items I could find and put them in every cabinet and drawer. But it embarrasses my Lady having to deal with her mom asking these questions, so I behave. EDIT: Almost forgot to mention! Several years ago when I shared an apartment with a friend, to keep my bedroom play noises more private, I bought thin wood lathe and used a finishing nailer to put up a framework on the shared wall between our bedrooms, then added cotton quilt batting from the fabric store attached via staple-gun to the lathes, then covered the whole with a nice fabric that matched my bedspread. Tuck the edges under the outside lathes and staple near the edge, run a line of cording around the edge to frame and hide staples. I ended up with what appeared to be a very decorative bold geometric print cloth wall that worked darn well to muffle noises. When we moved away, the finishing nails came out easily and it was the work of about 15 mins to spackle the tiny nailholes.

We have metal rings attached under cabinets in the livingroom. We hung S hooks from the rings and they became a place to hang coats. Friends come here ever day and see those rings and hooks and coats and don't think twice about them. When we want to use them the coats and S hooks get removed and we have some really strong anchor points. If we can do this in our livingroom, certainly you can think of something similar for your bedroom.

I sent this idea to someone on here a little while back. I have a simple plywood board with holes in it, slips easily behind my armoire in the bedroom. I can place it on the floor or on the bed. The holes allow zip ties to be used to anchor the person in place, mine has holes that work for wrist, ankles, calves, forearm, collar, belt, cock ring, etc. I line it with puppy pads and the zip ties go through to keep everything clean (I am a clean freak). When done, the ties are cut and disposed of. Cost me nothing, as I do woodworking and it was scrap. The person's own weight keeps the board in place.

i've designed and built a spanking horse that folds and stores under the bed. Takes about one minute to set up and take down, and doesn't take up a lot of space when in use.

these two toys are must-haves in my opinion if you want some discrete bondage play. http://www.extremerestraints.com/bedroom-bondage_337/under-the-bed-restraint-system_638.html (lots can be done with this and it can be folded up and put in a drawer somewhere when not in use) http://www.extremerestraints.com/bondage-gear_10/door-jam-bondage-accessory_491.html these go above and underneath doors. i never travel without them and even if when i'm at home (i don't need to be discrete) and i want to play but i don't feel like rigging up elaborate shibari these work. i just wish they were made from leather or rubber.. but we just use our rubber cuffs and replace the nylon ones. happy hunting. -Goddess

I just recently built a St. Andrews Cross that breaks down into 6 smaller pieces for easy storage. When it is together it stands 8 feet tall and leans against the wall in my living room, it breaks down to four 4 foot pieces of wood and 2 metal brackets. It takes about 5 minutes to assemble and disassemble and is easily stored in a closet or under the bed.

You're right, just because you're not interested, doesn't give me the right to say anything harmful. You don't owe anyone anything. In South Carolina, my family lives on a huge amount of land filled with blackberry bushes, fresh water, and all kinds of animals. They're always telling people that they can come over anytime they want, and go fishing, hiking, blackberry picking, whatever/. It's just a huge amount of land, so it just makes sense. You're a clever girl, and you can figure out what you want, and how to get it. I can say though that if my family put up giant black gates around the place, shit would be a lot less open, free, and easy than it could be. I think you're really intelligent, and obviously a lover of creative work. I'd be really into looking at some pictures sometime to see what kind of interesting photos you're shooting.

DS . . . Elle18 is still active as of 02/05/15 and from Los Angeles. He is from Riverside, interested in photography and talks about giving away a thousand dollar camera to girl. This is Elle18's only forum post. The only thing that even remotely makes sense of his posts is that I suspect he is replying to her email, talking directly to Elle18 in her only forum post instead of in email. So we aren't privy to 1/2 the conversation or what he is replying to. . . . that, or he is sees dead people and replying to invisible posts.
