You want something like Sally Hansen's Honey Hair Remover or Nads No-Heat Hair Removal Gel. What the stuff is is sort of like glue, it's just made from honey and/or sugar. You apply the stuff to the area to be waxed, following the direction of the hair growth. You then place over that a strip of some material that looks sort of like filter paper, and smooth it down onto the stickum you have applied. Usually the warming action of your hands as you smooth it down melts the stickum a bit and lets it adhere well to the hair. Then you grab the bottom of the strip of material and rip up against the direction of hair growth, while holding the skin in the area tight against the pull. Voilá! The sugaring products will wash off with warm water in the shower, and this is necessary because you always have traces of sticky left behind. True hair removal wax will come off with baby oil and mineral spirits but it's a giant PITA - I *much* prefer the easy cleanup with sugaring.
